Night Comfort Chap.33

After a day in a half of decision making you and Cyno agreed to move back to your mansion within the capital, as you missed It and It was quieter than being In the palace, though your parents were worried about you at first but you assured them you'd be alright for the move, so once again you and your husband left the palace with the things you'd brought before In toe, and it took about a day for you to get settled back in but you were comfortable like before 

It was currently dinner time and you were at the table with Cyno, the chef had made a dish with mixed rice and lamb meat for tonight with a side of salva salad,

you started, "Dear"

Cyno looked up, "hm? yes Love"

you tilted your head a bit, "you look a little tired, is everything alright?"

Cyno smiled, "yes, please don't worry I'm tired from my training earlier"

you nodded before you continued to eat, just as you then felt movement from inside your stomach and a smile came to your face "Cyno, I felt the child moving"

"Really? that's good"

you rubbed your stomach, "now that I think about it, Candace will be giving birth before I do In a month or so...I hope she's doing well, I believe the royal doctor's In Natlan say It's a boy"

"But how could they know?" asked Cyno

you shook your head, "It's only predictions, but most of all It's what the kingdom is expecting"

you then came out of your thoughts as you continued eating, and when you finished the meal you went to retire for the night with your husband, Nisha helped you get changed into your night dress and you sat at your vanity while she brushed your hair, 

"you'll be having the baby soon right my lady"

you nodded, "yes, but after another two months"

Nisha soon finished brushing and put the brush down, you smoothed some of your hair over your shoulder as she went to go snuff out some of the lamps, just as Cyno returned now dressed for the night as well and Nisha finished up before she respectively bid goodnight, 

you went over to the bed and carefully sat down as you held your stomach, and Cyno got onto the bed as he lifted the blanket up for you as you carefully laid down, he then got underneath the blankets as well and you turned over to face him as he caressed your cheek 

"It's been a long day, rest beloved" he said

you then leaned forward as he kissed you and you kissed back, before he rested his hand on your stomach as he bid goodnight to the little one as well, you then snuggled more against him as he brought his arms around you bringing his touch and warmth, he pressed a kiss to your forehead as he closed his eyes and soon closed yours as well, feeling the tiredness from the day coming over you, as you were pregnant you did indeed feel more tired than before 

and as the night went on you slept soundly until at one point you couldn't sleep at all, and you felt your back was starting to hurt a lot, you stirred a lot and Cyno noticed

Cyno spoke as he started waking up and sat up, "are you In pain, what's wrong"

you nodded, "mhm, It's my back I'm sorry I woke you dearest"

"My rest doesn't matter I'm alright, come, turn over for me would you"

you turned over facing away from him, and he started rubbing your back gently with It starting to help you feel better than before, and soon Cyno laid down as he continued doing this 

"are you feeling better?"

you smiled warmly, "yes, thank you dearest"

he scooted a little closer, bringing his arms around you now also giving you gentle rubs on your stomach, and you held onto his hands as you started feeling sleepy once more

"My Love"

"Yes?"

you started, "what will our child become when they're older, I don't want them just to be bound by being Royalty"

Cyno smiled gently, "I agree, they can become whoever they want, whether It means he becomes a general like myself or a scholar"

you smiled, "do you think It's a boy, he has a strong kick you know"

Cyno nuzzled into the back of your neck, "Maybe It is, but there's no way to tell now"

you let out a hum as you closed your eyes once more, "well...Goodnight darling"

"Goodnight my love, rest well".
