Beacon Hills Sheriff Station

Scott and Stiles were taking to the sheriff about the dead pool and Demarco's death. "So, the Walcotts were the first... at least, the first we know about. Four murders-- Sean, his brother, and their parents. They were killed by a professional assassin called the Mute; weapon of choice, a military tomahawk. But then, the Mute was killed by Peter Hale after he tried to blow up Derek with a claymore mine. Next was Demarco. He delivered a keg to the party at Lydia's lake house... and got decapitated outside his car." Stiles said.

Argent and Scott are analyzing the headless body of Demarco. "Does the scent tell you anything?" Argent asked. "Definitely a Werewolf... But there's more. I think he was part of a pack." Scott said. "Well, if he was, they'll be looking for him." Argent said.

"And then, last night, twenty-three-year-old Carrie Hudson..." Stiles said, looking at a picture of her dead body. "It's a Deadpool-- a hit-list of supernatural creatures." Scott said. He showed the sheriff the first part of the list. "This is only part of it... The rest still has to be decoded." Scott said. "Who found this list?" The sheriff asked. "Lydia and Leo." Stiles said. The sheriff sighed. "How?" The sheriff asked. "They wrote it." Stiles said. The sheriff looked at his son. "Actually, they transcribed it... without realizing it..." Stiles said. The sheriff sighed. "Banshee and Siren?" The sheriff asked.

"Banshee and Siren." Stiles said. "Beautiful." The sheriff said. He then looked at all the different numbers next to the names. "All right, what are these numbers next to the names?" The sheriff asked. "We're getting to that. First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key." Stiles said. "Wait... You mean, like, a... like a key word?" The sheriff asked. "It's actually a name--" Stiles said and looked at Scott. "Allison." Scott said. "Her name broke a third of the list." Stiles said. "And now we think there's two other cipher keys." Scott said. "Which will give us the rest of the names. Okay... So, how do we get the cipher keys?" The sheriff asked. "Same way we got the code." Stiles said. "Lydia and Leo..." Scott said.

Flashback ~ Martin Lake House ~ Last Night

"They've been at the lake house all weekend, trying to find the other two key words..." Scott's voice over said. Lydia and Leo are still at the lake house trying to find the other two keys the way they did the first, with the record player. They're not getting anything. Malia and Kira, in the room with them, decide that they need to take a break and turn the player off.

Stiles has a copy of the deadpool on the investigation board and crosses off the names of those who have been killed. So far six out of twelve people on the list have been killed. The Walcotts and Demarco were each worth 250 and Carrie was worth 500. "You didn't know about Demarco or Carrie, hmmm?" The sheriff asked. Scott and Stiles shook their head. "And what about these other two names on the list-- uh, Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town? They're Werewolves, too?" The sheriff asked. "I don't know... But Deaton said that the Nemetone would draw supernatural creatures here." Scott said.

"Here being Beacon Hills, or Beacon County? The population of Beacon Hills is just under thirty-thousand--" The sheriff said. "--And dropping--" Stiles said grimly, cutting in. "But, if we're talking Beacon County, then you're looking at close to five hundred thousand." The sheriff said. He looked down at the dead pool. "Look, how many Werewolves, Banshees, Sirens, Kitsunes, and whatever the hell else is out there are we talking about? And what if the next cipher key uncovers not twelve names, but one hundred?" The sheriff asked.

"We don't think there will be that many. There's a limit." Stiles said. "Because of the numbers. We think that, once we decode the names, the numbers will add up to one-hundred-seventeen." Scott said. "One-hundred-and-seventeen what?" The sheriff asked. "Million." Scott said. Stiles writes onto the list that the three digit numbers are thousands of dollars and the single or double digits are millions. "One-hundred-and-seventeen million dollars, Dad-- stolen from the Hale vault and is being used by someone to finance all these murders." Stiles said. "Someone who wants every supernatural in Beacon Hills dead." Scott said.
