Early the next morning, Arielle had given birth to her son and practically healed after 10 minutes before sirening the doctors to let her leave. Her and Deaton had a name picked out ready. Ambrose. Currently, everyone was stood around in the Hale living room as Scott draped a little 'In Memory' sash over a funeral flower arrangement. He glanced over to where Eli stood off to the side with Josh and Harper before looking at everyone else. Leo, Allison, Lydia, Malia, Parrish, Stilinski, Argent, Melissa, Coach and Peter. Scott sighed and went to speak before a knock was heard at the door.

Josh quickly rushed towards the door and opened it before hugging whoever was on the other side. A few moments later, Josh pulled away before backing away and letting the person enter the house, causing everyone to gasp and smile widely. It was Stiles. "Stiles." Scott said before the two hugged each other and Patting each other on the back. "Hey, Scotty." Stiles greeted. He pulled away before smiling at Leo, Allison, Malia and Lydia. "Hey, guys." Stiles said, waving awkwardly. They all smiled at him warmly before moving around so he could stand with them.

"The first night I met Derek Hale, he saved me. Then he said we were like brothers and I thought he was crazy. But no. No, he was right." Scott said before looking over at Eli. "Eli, from that moment on, we were like brothers." Scott told the teen who nodded slightly. "And, uh... Derek Hale was the first person to teach me that you don't just get the family you were born with. You get the family that you find." Scott spoke softly as Eli pulled away from the wall and walked down the hall a bit. Stiles saw this and nodded at his dad before following after Eli.

"You know, my dad and Derek have told me you've got this crazy addiction with my jeep. I mean I don't blame you but try not to steal it from now on." Stiles told the teen. "Sorry about that." Eli apologised and Stiles waved him off. "Don't worry about it. Besides, Derek would probably have made his promise by ripping my throat out with his teeth when I did this." Stiles said before holding the keys to the jeep out towards Eli. Eli saw the keys before smiling. "He hated that jeep." Eli said and Stiles nodded. "After I left it behind, my dad told me that Derek had it towed in thinking it was beyond repair. But then he opened up the hood and pulled off all the duct tape I had stuck on the engine. And he managed to fix it." Stiles told Eli, laughing slightly as he spoke.

"That jeep is something else. No matter what's been done to it, it just keeps on running. Derek could never figure out why it wouldn't break down and stay down and to be honest with you, neither could I. But I don't think he ever realised that we all saw Derek like the jeep. No matter the amount of torture or pain he went through, he always got back up and kept on running. He kept standing back up and fighting... until the day he couldn't anymore. Your dad had complicated feelings about my jeep. But that doesn't mean it needs to be complicated for you." Stiles finished his story, handing the keys over to Eli.

"All you gotta do... is keep it running. Just keep it going." Stiles said and Eli smiled. "And don't doubt the power of duct tape, alright? Because I used duct tape on that thing for years and it does the job and it's a lot cheaper than taking it to a mechanic." Stiles added on and Eli chuckled. "Why not give this to Josh?" Eli asked. Stiles smiled. "Josh has told me about how much you love the jeep. He likes the jeep but I know he doesn't want it like you do." Stiles answered. Eli nodded. "Now go take a spin in your new jeep. And take Josh and Harper with you. I've got a feeling they're going to be your Robin and Cat woman." Stiles told him.

"Does that make me Batman?" Eli asked. Stiles smiled and nodded. Eli grinned before rushing out of the house with Josh and Harper racing after him. Stiles watched the three with a content smile on his face, remembering moments like that from when he was their age.

Eli was sat in the driver's seat with Josh sat in the front passenger seat and Harper in the back as Eli drove the jeep, drumming his fingers to the beat of the music. Josh opened the glove compartment and saw a fresh roll of duct tape and a note stuck on top. Josh picked up the note and read his father's handwriting.
