Josh was driving his car with Eli sat in the back and Harper sat next to him, keeping an ice pack they found on his ankle to stop the swelling from getting worse. "Are you sure you can't use your healing?" Harper asked concerned for her family member. Eli shook his head. "No. If I can't shift without passing out, I think it's safe to bet that healing isn't on the table." Eli groaned. Harper nodded. "Okay. Just keep the ice pack on your ankle until we get there. Wherever we're going." Harper told him. Eli nodded, putting more pressure on the ice pack and he felt the cool feeling spread around the swollen area even more."Are we almost there?" Eli asked his best friend. "Yeah. Just a couple more minutes." Josh replied. "Where are we going exactly?" Harper asked. "The Auto Shop. It's the rendezvous point my dad made in case anything happened. Someone will meet us there." Eli told Harper. "Let's hope so." She muttered as Josh pulled up to a gas pump outside the Auto Shop. Josh climbed out of the car with Eli slowly getting out of the car and limping around, following after him. Harper looked outside to the pouring rain before quickly following after them, the cold drops of water washing over her.
"You should have stayed in the car." Josh told Harper. "And leave you two out here defenceless? I don't think so." Harper said loudly over the loud rain. Eli rolled his eyes at the two before taking the pump and placing it into the car. "Come on." Eli muttered, watching the meter go up as he filled the gas tank. Harper heard a skid noise approaching them fast. She looked over her shoulder and saw headlights at the end of the road growing closer and closer. "Guys..." Harper said, keeping her eyes on the headlights. She watched as the shape of a car appeared, speeding into the parking lot. "GUYS!" Harper shouted. Josh and Eli looked over and the three watched the car speed towards them.
"RUN!" Josh shouted. Himself and Harper helped Eli towards the door. The three made it to the door and looked back and watched the speeding car crash into Josh's car. "My dad is gonna kill me." Josh muttered as he watched his car go up in flames. They watched a man and a woman climb out of the car just as Eli got the door open. "Quickly." Eli muttered as the three raced inside the building. Harper slammed the door and looked outside. She watched as the two cars blew up and the light of the flame illuminated the figures faces and Harper felt frozen in her spot, shock racing through her veins.
It was her father and her Aunt Allison. Josh grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the door. The three quickly hid behind one of the many cars inside the building and Eli checked to see if they were being followed. "Who are they?" Josh asked Harper. "My supposed dead aunt and my supposed dead father." Harper revealed. Josh and Eli turned to look at her in shock and confusion. Before they could say anything, the sound of metal scraping against the floor caused the three to freeze. Leo and Allison were inside. Josh leaned down and looked under the car to see Allison's boots moving closer to them. His eyes widened before quickly looking at Harper and Eli.
He pointed behind him and began making his way around the car. Harper quickly wrapped Eli's arm around his shoulder and the two followed after him. Josh held his hand up, causing Harper and Eli to freeze. Harper looked underneath the car and saw Allison walking the other away. She sighed in relief silently but the relief didn't last long as Harper saw her father's boots approaching them slowly. 'Quickly. Find something to defend yourselves with. I'll keep my dad distracted.' Harper told Josh and Eli telepathically. Pushing the shock down, the two males nodded before quickly rushing past Stiles's jeep.
Harper felt someone behind her and she slowly looked behind her and saw Leo above her, his shotgun axe in hand, a curious expression painted across his facial features. Harper took a quick moment to examine her father. She could see that she got her features from him. She had his looks but her mother's brains. "Please don't kill me." Harper pleaded quietly. Leo titled his head. "Dad." Harper whispered. Leo's eyes widened slightly as quick flashes passed through his head. But they quickly vanished as they appeared. He lowered his weapon before backing away from the teen girl. Harper let out a shaky breath but quickly collected herself and quietly rushed to where she found Eli and Josh grabbing a wrench and a screwdriver.
Harper looked and saw Allison and Leo meeting up and whispering to each other. Eli and Josh nodded at each other before sneaking towards the two. Josh quickly stabbed the screwdriver into the back of Leo's leg just as Eli swung the wrench towards Allison. However, the woman was quicker and she blocked the attack with her bow before hitting him. Leo groaned before ripping the screwdriver out of his leg and Josh watched as the wound healed in seconds. Josh looked up at Leo's scowling face and smiled sheepishly before rushing away, Leo following after him.
Eli swung again but Allison blocked his attacks again. She then hit him in the stomach, knocking him into the car before hitting across his cheek with her bow making Eli hit the floor. Allison aimed her bow towards Eli's face. Harper rushed over and saw the scene. "NO!" Harper shouted and all the lights sparked throughout the Auto Shop. Harper looked at what she did and made eye contact with her father, who had a somewhat impressed look on his face whilst holding Josh in a headlock. Allison looked at Harper before aiming her bow at her instead. Before she could shoot, Scott came barging through the door. "Allison, Leo, Stop!" He yelled.
As Leo was distracted, Josh got himself out of the headlock and rushed towards Scott. Harper pulled Eli towards her and the two rushed over to Scott and Josh. "Come On! Come on! Go, go, go, go." Scott shouted as the four ran out of the shop just as one of Allison's arrows flew past them. "Ah! Oh, shit." Eli cursed as he dodged the arrow. "Ok. Go." Scott told the teens. Scott went to approach his truck but a shotgun blast hit the truck door. "Oh! Ah, come on! Come on! Let's go!" Scott shouted. Leo and Allison walked outside the Auto Shop. "I know you two don't remember everything. But if you stop trying to kill us for half a second, I could help you guys remember!" Scott shouted over the heavy rain.
Allison and Leo calmly walked across the parking lot through the rain, ignoring the shouts coming from the Alpha and teens. "Come on! All right! Hey! We're gonna have to run!" Scott shouted at the teens before quickly pushing the three towards another car as he blocked another arrow from Allison, distracting her and Leo from the teens. Josh, Harper and Eli hid behind another car as Eli groaned in pain from his ankle. "You need to heal." Josh told his best friend seriously. "I can't. I can't heal. I can't transform. I can't do any of it. You know this, Josh." Eli freaked out.
"Eli! I know it's hard to control these powers we have, but it will get easier. Trust me." Harper told him. "How do you know that?" Eli asked. "Because when I first got my powers, I lost control and nearly killed Lucas!" Harper exclaimed. Eli and Josh looked at her shocked from the confession. Before they could say anything, Scott roared loudly, causing Eli's eyes to glow gold. Leo turned away as his eyes glowed blue. Once the golden hue faded from Eli's eyes, he checked his ankle to see it had healed. He then touched his cheek and felt the wound had also healed.
Scott found the three and saw Eli had healed. "Come on." Scott told the three before quickly leading them towards the gate that led to the woods. The four quickly ran into the woods. Allison and Leo watched them run into the woods and Allison turned to Leo. "Can you track them?" She asked over the rain. Leo closed his eyes and focused his hearing onto the woods and over the rain where he heard four rapid heart beats. He opened his eyes and looked at Allison. "I got them." Leo said. Allison went to walk towards the gate but Leo stopped her.
"Wait." Leo said. "What?" Allison asked confused. "The girl. She's a siren like me. Which means they have more than one on their side." Leo told her. "Okay?" Allison said. Leo sighed. "You're vulnerable to us. A single hum and you're under our control." Leo explained. Allison realised how serious this was and nodded. "Okay. Is there anything you can do?" Allison asked. "I can try something. I don't know if it'll work. I've never done it before." Leo said as the rain started to calm down. "It's okay. I trust you." Allison told him. Leo nodded before dropping his weapon to the ground. He stepped closer to Allison and placed two fingers on either side of her head, directly on her temples.
"Just stay still." Leo told her before closing his eyes and humming his siren song. Allison stayed completely still as Leo concentrated. A few moments later, Leo went silent as he opened his eyes. "There." Leo said. "What did you do?" Allison asked. "I placed a protective blocker around your mind. No siren can enter your mind or control you." Leo told her. "Really?" Allison asked. Leo nodded before he started humming again. Allison didn't feel anything happen to her. She only heard Leo's humming. "It's working." Allison told him.
Leo stopped and smiled at her. "Told ya." He said, picking his shotgun axe back up. "How long does it last?" Allison asked. "It's permanent. You never have to worry about sirens ever again." Leo said. Allison smiled appreciatively. "Now, let's go for a stroll in the woods." Leo said. Allison nodded before following Leo's lead into the dense woods.
