Martin HouseLeo woke up and covered his eyes from the morning light shining through Lydia's window. He then felt someone next to him. He looked over and saw Lydia laying next to him. Leo then thought about how she looked the same as when they had their first sleepover. Leo then registered what he just remembered. That sleepover happened when he was 5. Leo gently shook Lydia. "Lydia." Leo whispered. Lydia started the stir awake. "What?" She asked. "I remember our first sleepover." Leo said quietly. Lydia looked at him shocked. "What?" Lydia asked. Leo nodded. "What else do you remember?" Lydia asked. Leo thought back and he remembered everything. "All of it. Every memory." Leo said.
Lydia smiled at him happily. "You really remember everything?" Lydia asked. Leo grinned and nodded. Lydia hugged him and squealed lightly. Leo hugged her back. "How?" Lydia asked. "I don't know. Might have something to do with our link and me being half werewolf." Leo said. "Wait. Repeat that last part." Lydia said. "Oh, right. I forgot to mention that." Leo said. Lydia gave him a shocked look. "I'm not just a siren. I'm also a werewolf." Leo said, his eyes glowing blue. Leo transformed and he looked at Lydia, worried about her reaction. But, she just looked at him like usual. Like he was human. She reached her hand out and touched his new features.
Leo's eyes stopped glowing blue and became hollow. Leo slowly transformed back. "Well?" Leo asked. Lydia just smiled at him. "You're still Leo. And you always will be Leo." Lydia said. Leo smiled warmly and hugged her. Lydia hugged him back. "Also, what's with the dye job?" Lydia asked. Leo laughed and pulled away. "What about it?" Leo asked. "Nothing. I like it." Lydia said. Leo gave her a skeptical look. "Really?" Leo asked. "What? I do. It's suits you." Lydia said. Leo smiled. "Thanks." Leo said. The two stared into each other's eyes, memorising the colour. Leo then coughed awkwardly and looked away. "I should go get ready for school." Leo said. "Right." Lydia said. Leo nodded and left the room. Lydia sighed and laid back down on the bed again.
Later ~ Beacon Hills High School
Leo, Scott, Stiles, Lydia, and Liam are sitting at a table in the library, where they're discussing what they've just learned between their encounter with the Beast and the Hellhound the previous night and what Mason has discovered about the frequencies. "Mason said it's not just to transmit frequency. It's high-powered-- like, it has to be a really strong signal." Liam said. "And that's causing it to shift?" Lydia asked. Scott shakes his head and interjects. "No, I don't think it's just that. Last night, Argent said that it's getting smarter. What if the Dread Doctors are trying to make the Beast grow faster?" Scott said.
"With frequencies?" Leo asked confused. "No, by shifting. The frequency is just the trigger. The important part is when it shifts into the werewolf." Scott said. Leo's eyes widen when he realises where Scott is going with this and follows his train of thought. "Like my dad." Leo said. Scott nodded. "Right! Yeah, when Peter was an Alpha, he got stronger every full moon. Eventually, the burns healed, and he was back to normal." Scott said. Liam nods in understanding as he puts the pieces together. "So, the Dread Doctors don't want to wait for the full moon." Liam said.
"They want want the Beast to be as strong as possible, as fast as possible." Scott said. "Because of Parrish." Liam said. "So, if this is happening tonight, what are we going to do?" Lydia asked. Stiles reaches into his backpack, which is sitting next to him on the table, and pulls out a crime scene photo, sliding it across the table so the others can see it. "Uh, we've got one clue to go on. This came from the hospital-- whoever's lurking inside the Beast is wearing a size-10 of indeterminate make." Stiles said. Lydia rolls her eyes and looks at Stiles skeptically. "Indeterminate?" Lydia asked. Stiles gives her a look. "It means it's a partial print." Leo said.
Stiles looked at him confused and shocked. "I remember everything now. My 180 IQ is back." Leo said. Stiles nodded and gestures to the photo again. "Basically, it was all we were able to get considering all the fire, blood, and carnage..." Stiles said. Scott looks anxious at the sound of this news. "How many size-10s are out there?" Scott asked. Stiles shrugged. "Only one with Parrish's blood on the sole." Stiles said. Liam also looks anxious as he glances back and forth between Scott, Leo, Lydia, and Stiles. "So, are we going to try to get the game cancelled?" Liam asked. "No. No, we're going to play, but we're just going to hope really hard that it doesn't turn into a blood-soaked massacre." Stiles said sarcastically.
