Beacon Hills High School

The Beacon Hills High School Library is crowded for a Saturday. Mason pulls a book off the shelf and sees Corey on the other side. Since Mason had been making out with Corey's now-dead boyfriend, he's too embarrassed to talk to him. But Corey notices him. "Mason? You're Mason, right?" Corey asked. "Yeah... You're Corey." Mason said. "You saw Lucas that night. My friend said he saw you talking to him." Corey said. "Yeah, uh... I met him that night. He was, uh, really cool." Mason said. He noticed that Corey looked sad. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened." Mason said. "Did he say anything? About me? About what happened?" Corey asked. "Sorry... I mean, I already told the cops everything I know... Which wasn't much. I'm... I'm really sorry." Mason said.

Corey puts a book back on the shelf: Miraculous Healing: True Stories of Impossible Medical Cures. He suspects that Corey may be another chimera. He looked over and saw him talking with Leo. "So, find the book you were looking for?" Leo asked. Corey nodded. "Yeah. I found it. It's all good now." Corey said. Leo smiled. "Good. So, you were talking with Mason?" Leo asked. Corey nodded. "You have the guts to ask him out?" Leo asked. Corey shook his head. "Don't worry. You just need to find your confidence. I know that it's hard for you, but you'll find it." Leo said.

Corey smiled. "Thanks, Leo." Corey said. "You're my cousin. I'd do anything for you." Leo said. Corey hugged him and Leo hugged him back. "Alright. Let's go." Leo said. Corey nodded and the two walked out of the library.

Later

Leo had been informed on the plan and was currently unloading cell jammers from Parrish's car with Parrish, Lydia and Malia. "We're betting our lives on these?" Malia asked. "I think we're betting Hayden's life on them." Lydia said. "Yeah, well, I'm glad I brought my gun." Parrish said. They place the jammers up around the school and gather in the boys lockers room. Scott has a heavy bag with him. Malia stations herself out in the hallway. Parrish stands outside with his gun ready. Lydia and Leo corner Scott. "Is it me, or is Liam not aware of the second part of the plan?" Leo asked. "I'm still not sure if there's going to be a second part... Or if it's going to work." Scott said.

The Doctors arrive at the school. One of them sends a burst of electromagnetic energy through the school. It affects the PA system and makes Parrish's car stereo emit sound. The frequency is 97.1.

Later

Hayden stares at herself in the mirror. "Don't worry. You learn to control it." Liam said. "I'm not like you. I wasn't bitten by a wolf. I was... someone's science experiment." Hayden said. She sighed. "This is so bizarre." Hayden said. "I know, but you're gonna be okay. I promise." Liam said. She looks in the mirror at him. "What am I?" Hayden asked. "You're Hayden." Liam said. "By the way... if you get me out of this, I'll forget all about the sixth grade." Hayden said. Scott watches them growing closer and sighs. Down one of the rows of lockers, he sees a leash being dragged across the floor. Scott gets up to follow it.

"Scott?" Lydia called out. "I was just thinking... Since we can't use our phones, we can't check in on Stiles and Theo." Leo said. "I didn't even think about that." Scott said. "Me, either. So, we're standing here, waiting for guys in masks and breathing tubes to show up... But who--or what-- are Stiles and Theo waiting for?" Leo asked.

Later

Liam, Hayden, Lydia, and Scott are in the boys locker room, waiting. Hayden falls asleep on Liam's shoulder. He finally notices the black bag that Scott brought in earlier and gets up to check it out. He finds chains inside and turns toward Scott. "What were you going to do with these?" Liam asked. "Brought them just in case..." Scott said. "In case of what?" Liam asked. "In case we had a chance to catch one of them. If we can't make the school a fortress, then maybe we can make it a trap." Scott said. "They're coming for her-- doesn't that mean she's the bait?" Liam asked. Hayden scowls at them.

Outside, Parrish is in his car, waiting. He looks down and sees a playing card. It's the Queen of Diamonds. Suddenly, Lydia is next to him. She touches his arm and then pulls him into a kiss. She takes off his shirt, and he rips hers open. She runs her fingers down his chest, and it leaves ashen trails. When he pulls back, she's burned all over. He's terrified, but she grabs his head and kisses him again anyway. Malia is still watching over the hallway. She hears Parrish's car start and drive away. As she goes to take a look, a leg trap suddenly emerges from the floor and grabs her leg. She screams and falls. Another trap grabs her arm, and as she's screaming a spike pierces her throat. The Doctors walk in, and we see Malia on the floor, struggling, but not actually harmed. The attack is a psychic one.

Back in the Boys Locker Room, Lydia is trying to reason with Liam and trying to calm him down. "Liam, we brought her here to protect her." Lydia said. "And now she's bait." Liam said. "Am I?" Hayden asked. "No, no one's bait. But we can't be bodyguards to everyone every night." Scott said. "Then why aren't we talking to Stiles' dad? Why aren't we doing something better than hiding in a school?" Liam asked. "Because we still don't know anything about them or what they want, okay? They're winning, and we don't even know what the game is." Scott said. "What if they come in here and those things don't work? What if you have an asthma attack again? What are we gonna do?" Liam asked.

"I don't know." Scott said. "This plan sucks!" Liam said. "You got a better one? Kids are dying, and she's next! So, somebody has to do something. Somebody has to save everyone. So somebody's got to be the bait!" Scott said. They all stare at SCott as he admits the truth. "Scott... Promise me you'll do everything you can to save her." Liam said. Scott didn't say anything. "Scott-- promise." Liam said. "I'll do everything I can. I promise." Scott said. "Guys... I think I might need a little help right now. I forgot my pills. I have a bottle in my locker. I can get them, but..." Hayden said. "I'll get them. What's your combination?" Scott said. Him and Lydia head out of the locker room.

"Hurry. I'll keep watch." Lydia said. Scott goes to Hayden's locker, but before he can open it he hears the leash dragging on the floor. It goes into a classroom, and he follows it. A sword bursts through his chest from behind. It's Kira. She wraps the leash around his throat and strangles him. Back in the Locker Room, Leo was leaning against the wall, watching over Liam and Hayden. "Are you two dating or something?" Leo asked. "No." Liam and Hayden both said. Leo raised an eyebrow at them. "Sure." Leo said sarcastically.

Leo then started see everything was going blurry. "Oh, god. Not again." Leo said. He clutched his head as he slid down the wall. He groaned in pain as his head started to hurt. "Leo? Leo, what's wrong?" Liam asked but his voice sounded far away. Leo looked at him confused. "Who are you?" Leo asked. Leo looked around confused. "Where am I?" Leo asked. Leo groaned in pain again as he pulled at his hair. A few moments later, the pain stopped and Leo heard a ringing. "Leo?" Liam asked. Leo looked at him. "What happened?" Leo asked. He looked around confused. "When did we get here?" Leo asked.

Liam and Hayden looked at each other confused. "We've been here for a while now." Hayden said. "What? No. I was just at the hospital with Lydia and Stiles." Leo said. "Leo. That was last night." Liam said. Leo sighed. "Not again." Leo said. "What's happening to you?" Liam asked. "I don't know. But I'm losing periods of time in my memory." Leo said. A few moments later, Liam, Leo and Hayden hear the Doctors coming. "Guys, did you hear that?" Liam asked. "They're here, aren't they? They're in the school." Hayden said. "Scott? Lydia?" Liam called out. The door to the locker room opens. The Pathologist comes in first. The Surgeon breaks the cell jammer. "We're on a frequency you can't possibly imagine." The surgeon said.

Later

Scott is still being attacked by Kira. Suddnely a cut opens on his hand. Scott naps out of it and sees Mason standing over him with a scalpel. "AHHH!" Scott shouted in pain. "Sorry. Sorry. I was trying to help. Liam said pain... He said it makes you human." Mason said. "What happened? What are you doing here?" Scott asked. "I found another Chimera. His name's Corey." Mason said. "Wait... Where's Liam and Hayden?" Scott asked. They go to the locker room looking for them. Lydia and Malia are already there. "They're gone... Hayden and Liam are gone." Malia said. "And Leo?" Scott asked. Lydia shook her head. "They got him too." Lydia said.

At the Doctors' lab, they have Liam hooked up to a machine to drain his blood. He sees Hayden strapped to an exam table. The Geneticist briefly has her mask off, showing pale skin and sickly remnants of hair. Liam begs them not to hurt her. The Surgeon then walked over to another exam table and Liam saw Leo strapped down, with a hole in his head, unconscious. The surgeon pulled out a needle with the same fluid from last time and placed the needle into his head and injected him. "Leave them alone."
Liam begged but was ignored.
