Moore HouseIt's been a few weeks since the beast was defeated and Theo was dragged to wherever he went. Leo and Lydia had gone on that date they talked about. They went to a 50s diner. The same diner they went to when they were younger. The same diner they shared a milkshake. They were both feeling anxious and nervous about it but when they got to the diner and sat down, those feelings washed away and they were both relaxed and happy the entire night. After that, they went in many more dates in the weeks after. After the fourth date, they made things official. Everyone was happy for them. They all saw that the two were made for each other and that their love would be epic.
Currently, Leo was in his room catching up on all the homework he failed to complete due to a certain memory problem. He was surprised that he hadn't had piles of paper everywhere. The school let him complete all his homework at his own pace and return it all as soon as possible. As he was writing, he heard a thump come from Alice's bedroom. Leo furrowed his eyebrows before standing up from his desk and walked out of his room to the room next to his. He knocked on the door. "Alice, what are you doing?" Leo asked. He could hear shuffling about. "Just, um, reorganising." Alice said on the other side of the door. "Reorganising what?" Leo asked. "CLOTHES!" Alice shouted. Leo covered his ears. "Can you not shout? Still getting used to super hearing." Leo said.
"Sorry. I'm reorganising my clothes." Alice said. Leo looked unsure by the answer but shrugged it off anyway. "Okay. Just keep it down. I'm trying to catch up on homework." Leo said. There was a moment of silence before Alice spoke again. "Ok." Alice said. Leo then walked back into his room. He sat back down at his desk and continued writing when he started listening in on Alice's room without even realising. "So, that was your brother?" A male voice asked. "Yeah. I've always wanted to meet him. He's really nice, caring, smart and would do anything for the people he cares about." Alice said. "Is he like you?" The male voice asked. "Yeah. But with something extra from his dad." Alice said. "What is he then?" The male voice asked. "A siren and a werewolf. He's a natural born chimera." Alice said.
Leo stood back up from his desk and walked back to Alice's door. "Alice. I know someone's in there." Leo said. Leo could hear her heartbeat starting to get faster. "What do you mean?" Alice asked. Leo looked at the door with a 'really' look. "Supernatural hearing." Leo said. He heard Alice sigh before hearing footsteps. The door opened and Leo smiled at Alice. "Hi." Leo said. Alice smiled awkwardly. "Hey." Alice said. "Wanna introduce me?" Leo asked. "Well, I may as well now." Alice said, moving out of the way. Leo walked into the room and saw a teenage boy around Alice's age laying on her bed. He smiled widely when he saw Leo. "Hi." The boy said. "Leo. This is Kai. Kai. This is Leo." Alice said. Leo looked over the boy. He had blonde hair, one brown eye and one blue eye with green highlights.
Leo then looked at Alice and smiled. "And you didn't want me to meet your boyfriend because..." Leo said. "Well, I didn't want you to give him the older brother talk." Alice said. "Please. I don't want to do that just as much as you don't. As long as you don't do anything stupid, yet, then, you two are fine." Leo said. "Really? You're not going to freak out like mom did when she first found out?" Alice asked. "Just remember my dad is Peter Hale. I got the non-caring from him." Leo said. "Fair point." Alice said. "So, are you actually part werewolf?" Kai asked. Leo looked over at him. "That depends. What are you?" Leo asked. "He's a Kaze Kitsune." Alice said. Leo looked at Alice before looking back at Kai. "You're a Wind Kitsune?" Leo asked.
Kai nodded. "Yeah. That's why I have a blue eye. It's kind of like my wind mark." Kai said. "So, you didn't always have Heterochromia?" Leo asked. Kai shook his head. "Not until my powers started playing up." Kai said. "What can you do?" Leo asked. Kai then smirked before disappearing from the bed in the blink of an eye. Leo looked at the bed confused. "Boo." A voice said behind him. Leo jumped and turned around to see Kai stood there grinning. "I'm really fast." Kai said. Leo looked slightly impressed. "And I can do this." Kai said. He then started levitating a few inches off the ground. Leo looked even more impressed. "I can go higher but it takes more energy." Kai said. Leo smiled as Kai touched the ground. "Okay. That was impressive." Leo said.
"Thanks." Kai said shyly. Alice grabbed Kai's hand and intertwined their fingers. Leo smiled at them. "Well, as long as there aren't any mini versions of you running about, then you two are completely fine." Leo said. Alice groaned. "Seriously?" Alice asked. "You know I had to." Leo said. "Unfortunately." Alice said. "How long have you two actually known each other?" Kai asked. Leo and Alice looked at each other. "Couple months." Leo said. Alice nodded. "Sounds about right." Alice said. "Why?" Leo asked. "Because you're acting like you've known each other for years." Kai said. The two siblings smiled. "Feels like it." Alice said. "Rude." Leo said. "In a good way." Alice said. "That's better." Leo said.
Alice smiled. "So, when did you two meet?" Leo asked. "Um, Chicago. Two years ago in school." Kai said. "You and mom live in Chicago?" Leo asked confused. "Yeah. We were there for about 4 years." Alice said. "Huh." Leo said. "Yeah, um, there were this group of jocks that would pick on me at the same times everyday. Talk about how I was a freak and how no one would love me." Kai said. Leo looked at him sympathetically. "Then, one day, when they were saying their usual comments, when Alice stormed over and right hooked the main jock. She literally beat the living crap out of them." Kai said with a wide smile. Alice blushed in embarrassment when Leo smiled proudly at her. "She didn't get suspended because she sirened the principal to let it go. And then our friendship was born." Kai said.
"When did she find out you were a Kitsune?" Leo asked. "It was about a year after that day. I caught her using her powers on one of the popular kids so they would make a fool of themselves. She saw I caught her and I didn't feel so alone anymore. I told her about me and what I could do and we grew closer." Kai said. "You know that my cousin would welcome you immediately. I trust him with every bone in my body. There are others like us here. People who are different. And we wouldn't mind one more addition. We're always looking for people to help and bring into the pack." Leo said. Kai smiled happily and gratefully. "What about me?" Alice asked. "You were let in after helping kill the beast." Leo said. "Oh. Ok." Alice said.
"Anyway. Who asked who out first?" Leo asked. "Um, we kind of told each other at the same time. I noticed that Kai was acting weird around me and I wanted to know why. So, I may have looked into his mind and saw that he liked me. And at the time, I had a crush on him. And then, it all went from there." Alice said. Leo smiled at them. "Okay, well, I'm going to go finish my homework. You two behave." Leo said before walking out of the room. Alice shook her head in embarrassment. "Oh, my god." Alice muttered under her breath. "Well, he seems nice." Kai said. "Excluding that last thing he said, yeah he's nice." Alice said. "Wish I had a brother like that. Or just a brother." Kai said. Alice smiled at him sympathetically.
"Don't worry. Give it a week. He'll be treating you like family." Alice said. "And your mom?" Kai asked. "She already sees you as family." Alice said. Kai smiled widely. "Great." Kai said. Alice chuckled and dragged him back towards her bed. She fell on top of the mattress, pulling Kai with her. The two laughed for a couple minutes before calming down, the smiles never leaving their faces. Alice turned on her side, facing Kai as he wrapped his arms around her. Alice laid her head on his chest and sighed in content. "I love you." Alice said. "I love you too." Kai said, kissing the top of her head.
