how mundane life seems to us,
about which everyday we fuss.
how often we fail to recognize what a bliss the normal is,
which we tend to realise when certain things we miss.
complaining about the serenity of today,
drowned in thoughts of an upcoming day;
we deprive ourselves of our joy present now,
worrying about what seeds tomorrow we need to sow.
so caught up in the chaos we are,
afraid of tensions coming our direction from afar;
that we do not pay attention to the peace,
focusing on memories that are meant to tease.
so terrified of change we tend to be,
that we accept the shackles than being left free;
yet how we complain of the certainty of our day,
as we grumble on and have so many complains to say.
working for an exotic vacation,
we miss out on little sunsets that brings us joy;
earning for a steady future,
we tend to forget that the seeds meant to grow today also needs to be nurtured.
playing it safe we save for the nexts,
amidst situations which to ourselves causes anxiety and stress;
though we know nothing about the forthcoming,
we overlook today's blessings and forget peacefully humming.
we are so bent on a tomorrow we are unsure of,
compromising my today as in the corner it sobs;
not because we are driven by intelligence,
but we are afraid of falling behind and negligence.

i just wanna say we all feel either our life is way too complicated / problematic 💅🌊 or way too mundane🐿🌌 but guys realise how precious mundane is ✨ know in your heart that you're living the best day possible 💕 and if you don't feel that way, make it that way 🌈💨 you have the power to your happiness and no body gets to steal that 💘 enjoy life the way you want to 🐣 instead of looking at what others have 😪 or mocking what others are deprived of 💅
