• THE START •
you say we're just friends,
and that's where it all ends;
but for you all of my love I send.
cause I know it's love, atleast from my side;
if possible I'd go telling our story far and wide.
I know all your hidden secrets,
and oh how your eyes shine as you look at the sun that sets;
I've known you for so long,
and i know this feeling could never be wrong;
because i might not know my soul well,
but I'd forever know what you want even before your heart could tell;
and that's why i know this is love, atleast from my side;
and you're the moon which with itself brings the tide.
tides I'd drown into if I have to,
tides so refreshing even if they're a few;
tides full of love and warm hugs,
tides cleansing you and which out of you all the negativity sucks.
i have known you for as long as time,
i have your heart beats memorised like a soothing hymn.
all I wish for, is your approval;
as i sit here - all gloomy and dull.
cause i see you with her laughing and playing,
as your hair in the wind goes swaying;
i see her comb it like I once did,
and only I knew how my tears I hid;
ain't bitter of her at all,
because who wouldn't for you fall?
maybe in a next life time I'll have you all for myself,
unless then my heart and soul might need a little help;
maybe in a life later on, I'll confess how I really feel,
and fortunately then I wouldn't have to hide under a veil;
im masking a happy face,
as through your arms, her hands trace;
and yet i hold on to you,
because I know it's love atleast from my side.
but oh my love, know that I'll always be here,
you can come to me in every pain and every fear;
know I'll always love you with all my heart,
like I always did from the very start!!
