here's something dedicated to the poetry world, im no where near to even good in this field and also i am trying to nurture this! with which i hope you guys enjoy it out here. reviews would be appreciated. 🕊♥️
the holes in our boat, speak a different story; the rumors that float, has now become our glory.
we might sink, but we enjoy seeing pain; even if we loose ourselves in a blink, seeing someone else suffer becomes our gain.
what a world we live in, where every sin is committed; right through their monstrous grin, we see evil dripping which they thought would've been omitted.
gone are the days, where the world was always a safe haven; now there are not one but infinite ways, how people just let bad things happen.
we've all given up on goodness, every help seen as a loan to be returned; we've reached a stage where in we confess, every of our evil deeds like its something to be learnt.

heyy folks 👋 i hope you're all doing good!!! just chiming in to say that the world's become a not so safe space anymore.
don't get me wrong, im extremely OPTIMISTIC when it comes to goodness and humanity but sometimes, hearing bad things happen just breaks the heart and ig i was in one of those times when i wrote this.
but ykw? i am a very firm believer that there's always more goodness than evil!!! i don't know maybe i find comfort in telling that to myself, maybe i love being in that illusion or maybe i am just freaking right, cause i always am *insert image of the smuggest look you've ever seen*
given all that, i know why people choose not to be optimistic, always doubting, always skeptical. im too, im skeptical of people but not of kindness. maybe i should be, because mostly people get murdered for either being kind or giving in to a person they feel are kind lol.
all of this to say there's already enough monstrosity and evil in the world, we don't have to add any. we can always choose to be good, to be kind, to extend help, to be there for our people, to help people.
and i know a lot of y'all will say but why be there when people aren't there for you in return. the thing is we all expect something in return when we lend help. personally, i just don't care. I can help someone just for the sake of it and be like - that's done and dusted. to be precise, i don't EXPECT people who I've helped to help me. Simply because they can't, or they can but they don't want to, or they want to but there are other factors hindering them.
So, first don't EXPECT help back from the same people who you helped.
Instead trust the Universe. The Universe notes every act of evilness and kindness and it'll always render you help when you'll need it the most. So, when things come to it I'll put my money (trust) on the Universe and not even worry about it.
If not faith, believe the science. The Universe has always run on balance. If there's good, there has to be evil for the Universe to exist. There needs to be atleast two poles right?
So yes, believe in the energy you're giving out by helping people, being there for them and the Universe will register it right away. Be dirty to people, trick them and Universe sees that too!!!
So, all in all have faith and be good just because you can't change how others are but you can help yourself and be a better person everyday.
Decide whether you want to add to the badness by being bad cause there's no point in being good or try to balance evil by being nice.
