as i hold your hand, and lay my feet on the cold sand; all of my worries go away, as through our hair the wind does sway; i hold you in my arms, wanting to protect you from all harms; i look at you as you look ahead, and your face - so elegant has me dead; and i know you know im staring at you, all of my fairy tales seem to come true; i breathe in deep, as i forget how to weep; with the smell of yours, all around everything feels so nice and pure; i know we haven't had enough time, but will it ever be enough for partners in crime; i know, you find yourself filled with guilt; and if I could, the world for you I'd tilt. for now I know what it feels like to have someone so close, and not being able to touch them cause that's what you chose; i know i was wrong, and that's why every night for you i write a song; we'll meet someday I'm so sure, and I promise until then, around you I'll always lure; you walk on the beach, and you're so close yet out of my reach; i know, you know im here; and I know why don't run away from me with fear!! it's all the love we have for each other, that's makes us long so much for one another; but trust me we'll meet, and that one day will be sucha treat; i know I've passed on from that body of mine, but when did we ever submit to the rules of time; i know im now just a soul walking beside you, i know how destiny had set us up for nothing but rue; but oh my love, have faith in me; one day we'll meet and from the world we'll be so free. im here waiting as you make your way through, and i know there's so much love and apology due.
