« the bonds we make »

• THE START •

the closest to my heart is you,
and that sentence i tell to people extremely few;
you're the water droplet on the leaf,
admired by all but your touch only I receive;
the touch of warmth, the feeling of home;
and in my mind rent free you roam;
people do not understand our relationship, they say;
we often laugh and know that it is going to stay that way;
because we transcend the boundaries of understanding,
it isn't just a random friendship or a needy fling;
it goes deeper than the superficial,
it isn't a bond that feels artificial;
it let's us know that we are here for each other,
it gives us strength knowing we have one another;
inspiring the other we pave our ways,
as we work hard through all of our nights and days;
being present is what matters,
just to silently hold us as our heart shatters.
and that person you've always been to me,
with whom i could express anything feeling free;
there wasn't words coated with judgement, we stood tall and together even when things downhill were being sent;
and today as we have it all,
we know without each other we'd fall;
fall to never rise up again,
or rise and again let all our efforts go in vain;
so thank you for being here by my side,
as i explore all my options overseeing far and wide.

guys, a lot of times, we have these people in our lives we connect to almost magically ✨ it is like we just meet and know we could be the best of friends 💘 and the world doesn't get these sort of relationships cause idk, maybe it doesn't seem tangible to them? but to me, it very much is 🌱🌷 i have had amazing friends who were there for me always and they weren't physically here, i haven't seen them but talking to them eases the pain and feels so free to the soul ⏳😌
