There's Something About You...

Chapter 9: Transparency

Jungkook couldn't have asked for anything more... He actually didn't even expect it to happen at all.

Jungkook went to the bathroom to change his pants and underwear. He still couldn't believe that the person he has fallen in love with has retributed with the same feelings.

Or, at least, he was slowly getting there.

He has been putting himself in Jimin's shoes a lot of times lately... And even if he could never be totally sure about Jimin's feelings or thoughts, he would always be considerate of his position.

It was not always simple to fully separate reasoning from instinct. A male Omega trying to stay away from a male Alpha in nowadays' society was the most logical safety procedure... But Jimin didn't want to run away from Jungkook.

He didn't expect things to happen right there and then... And he was determined not to rush anything at all...

When Jungkook was done with changing his clothes, he found his way back to the living room, taking a seat on the couch once again as he waited for the other man.

He could wait... He could follow Jimin's pace and it was just fine as long as they could be together. Just being close to him made him already feel so lucky...

"Hey."

Jungkook looked at where the voice came from, at the entrance door of the living room.

Jimin had changed his clothes... His expression was quite puzzling though...

"I also changed my clothes," Jungkook said.

Jimin came closer and took a seat on the couch, close to the young Alpha.

They stayed in silence for a bit, even though it seemed like it had been for an eternity.

Jungkook started getting nervous.

What if Jimin was regretting what had happened?

No, it couldn't be... His words before sounded so genuine... Of course he was free to change his mind, but the way he said those things seemed so real...

Maybe it was something about Jungkook instead...

"I'm sorry...," Jimin started.

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. Maybe he really was regretting what they had done...

But Jungkook tried to reassure again:

"What for? You did nothing wrong."

Jimin opened his mouth to continue, before he just started shaking his hand in the air, clearly asking Jungkook to forget what he was about to say.

"We have work to do, would you mind if we get focused on this? Please?"

His lack of response made Jungkook uneasy... But he respected that and agreed on getting into work.

He tried not to get distracted from it as they started working but once in a while the sudden thought would cross his mind.

Jimin was free to feel, share or do whatever he felt like doing, but on the inside, Jungkook wished he could share his feelings with him. He wanted to know which thought would cross Jimin's mind, especially after being that intimate with each other.

But he had also decided that he would patiently wait for whatever the outcome was going to be.

They worked hard the entire day, only taking a short break to eat something or to go to the bathroom whenever they needed to.

When Jimin was working, he would always give 100% of himself. He'd never let his emotions show, whichever those were, so that he could analyze everything and work with a cool head no matter what.
