True to himself and to his word, Jungkook didn't hesitate in agreeing with Jimin as soon as he heard about what had happened. The rest of the arguments were convincing enough, but learning the truth about Taehyung's situation was the switch that Jimin needed to finally make up his mind.

The catharsis was inevitable... Keeping the silence and letting everything stay the same, and possibly even getting worse, was revolting... It was a complete bold, risky move, but once the decision had been made, there was no way back in their mind.

Taehyung was Jimin's age and he had someone he loved in need of help because they couldn't afford buying suppressants anymore... It wasn't an issue that affected Omegas only, it also dragged their loved ones down, as well as other people who got involved too.

This problem was no longer a hypothesis or a theory of some sort... It was happening already, even if hidden in the shadows of society, it was still right there under their noses... And by now they could only hope it was not too late to act. Even if before Jimin had already been studying the situation, it was only when talked to Taehyung that he truly got immersed in the issue and really started pushing himself into it.

Whenever he wasn't working, he was looking for potential investors like himself and studying the best way to start financing these companies anonymously. Every detail was pertinent, like how much should he invest, when he should do it and who should he be dealing with.

He obviously wasn't alone.

Jungkook was always by his side, trying to help the best way he could, while trying to figure things out as well. It was safe to say that that intensive research had almost become a basic need. They would spend hours at home at night staring at the computer screen, evaluating the stock market and gathering new contacts.

However, the intensive research kept dragged itself to the following couple of weekends too.

They were together 24/7, but they were never really there... They were so focused on trying to find a safe way to get involved in the suppressant market so much that it even had become almost an obsession... In a way that had made them forget about other important things.

It was a Saturday night when Jimin fell onto the bed, defeated, exhausted, having just another of his headaches, which apparently had become a constant these days...

Jungkook took his place on the other side of the mattress as well not long after... Tucked in and lights off, soon they were cuddling together, feeling like they were charging each other up by discarding all of the stress.

It was only when they were comfortably close together, in the silence and darkness of the room, that Jungkook suggested out of the blue:

"Why don't we go on a date?"

Jimin didn't answer right away, almost falling asleep and hence confused by the sudden question.

"A date?...," he said into the dark.

Instead of answering right away, Jungkook shifted on the bed, pulling away from the other one just enough.

Jimin laid on his back while the Alpha got on top of him, throwing a leg over the older one, straddling in place, as he placed his elbows next to Jimin's shoulders. Despite the lights being off, Jimin could feel Jungkook staring down at him as he retrieved a grin.

"We haven't been able to have a proper one since you started taking suppressants again...," Jungkook continued, before he came closer, lips teasingly brushing against Jimin's, "plus, I think it would do us some good and help us relax and forget about all of what is going on for a bit..."

Jimin simply leaned forward to kiss him.

Jimin remembered Jungkook talking about it. He remembered how Jungkook had promised to take Jimin on a date once they discovered he could go back to his normal life... However, with work and everything else going on, it didn't really have a chance to happen yet...
