The atmosphere inside the room changed drastically after.

What before was filled with lies burbling among the tension that had settled, had now unwinded... Though, it was also notorious the regretful faces and melancholy of their voices as they kept talking...

Namjoon cleared everything up with Seokjin, without omitting any details anymore, followed by his sincere apologies. Even if disappointed, the doctor recognized everything he had done for a long-time friend... He had a constant troubled look on his face, especially after he learned about what was going on...

Yoongi also took the chance to finally formally introduce himself to him. His intentions felt genuine when he also took a bow and truly thanked the doctor for helping him, even if it was all done without his consent.

Seokjin might have a short temperament sometimes, but he truly cared for people. He accepted their apologies with the promise that they wouldn't hide anything from him anymore and that they would let Seokjin help Yoongi directly... They obviously agreed. They even talked and got to know each other for a bit, mainly by talking about mundane topics.

The couple was still on their side of the office, and by letting the trio talk among each other like they should have done a few years ago, Jungkook turned to Jimin to ask:

"What should we do from here?"

Jimin twirled in his chair to face him, as he took a moment to think about it...

"I agree with Namjoon hyung...," he said, "we could try to understand who might be interested in this cause and convince these people somehow..."

Jungkook sighed.

"People are not that easily convinced..."

"I know, but maybe we could... We are not some random investors playing around with these pharmaceutical company's assets to get some cash, we are reliable people in this society, well-known too," Jimin added, "we might convince some people that betting on the suppressants' development and commercialization might be a good investment."

"But, Jimin...," Jungkook hesitated, at the same time he tried to play the devil's advocate, "someone so focused on the suppressant market could be because that person is an Omega himself..."

It was hard to believe that there were that many Omegas in leadership positions... But after the conversation they just had, who could guarantee that it wasn't true? These people could be just hiding their identity as Jimin has always done...

"I know...," he sighed, "that's why it would be important to get as many people as we can... The more people, the less attention will be focused on us... We could try doing this anonymously but who knows for how long we could keep it up..."

Jungkook agreed, despite being as confused and worried as the Omega.

A few more minutes in and Seokjin decided that it was time to leave and the other ones followed right after.

Jimin and Jungkook closed the office and called it a day.

Despite promising to keep in touch with each other, they were entering the following week after that meeting with no news...

Things were moving slowly... Slower than they had expected...

It shouldn't have been their problem... It was a burden that they were carrying that had nothing to do with them... But at the same time, it did, and that fact alone was slowly consuming them...

Taking only Jimin and Yoongi as examples, they were Omegas, and they had families, friends or lovers who cared about them, especially when they suffered while being Omegas in a fucked-up society. Multiplying this by every Omega in the country, there were a lot of people involved...
