Jungkook's mind was running that night.
He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened, trying to remember and relive all of the details from the beginning and he got butterflies in his stomach the more he thought of Jimin, almost like a pup who just had just have his first crush and it was reciprocal.
Jungkook went to bed pretty late that night and woke up the next morning with Jimin present in his mind at all times. He was the reason why it had been so difficult to fall asleep and also the reason he woke up before the alarm clock. The exhilaration was just too much.
He quickly prepared to leave his apartment, wearing some jeans and a yellow shirt. It was pretty different from his typical Sunday style that was composed of any other set of comfy clothes he found lost in the wardrobe, like some sweatpants and a hoodie, but today he felt like wearing something in between his working days' suit and home clothing.
When he was ready, he rushed his way to Jimin's place. He found himself feeling both excited and nervous. Even after spending his first weeks in Seoul with him, even if he has known Jimin for months now, in which he began developing feelings for him, things were different now... They felt different...
A good different.
The subway trip seemed to take longer than it actually did, but soon he arrived at Jimin's apartment.
Jimin had texted him that morning, so he followed his instructions by entering the passcode to open the door and making himself at home. Jimin was probably finishing getting prepared, but Jungkook noticed his laptop and all of the paperwork already set on the table in front of the couch where they usually worked.
He took a seat on the couch, set his things on the table and waited.
Jimin entered the living room not long after. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as soon as his eyes laid on Jimin. His hair was still wet and he was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a light blue t-shirt. In fact, he looked refreshed and cozy in those clothes.
"Thank you for waiting," he said with a smile, as he came closer to take his place next to the other.
"No problem at all," Jungkook answered back while smiling, trying to act normal when in reality he was pretty nervous.
The second Jimin sat down, Jungkook thought about how he should greet him. He imagined kissing him, this time not in the cheek, but maybe a peck on his mouth, to make up for the night before. He also imagined Jimin taking the lead once again and being the one to initiate the kiss instead.
However, when Jimin took his place on the couch, his attention completely turned to the work instead.
It was a bit of disappointing, imagining a whole scenario for something so simple to happen and it still didn't.
But Jungkook knew, whenever Jimin got into business mode, then the rest was secondary.
So, he stopped daydreaming and tried to go with the flow. Jimin might drown himself in work now but from what he had learned before, when he felt comfortable to open up to someone, he was able to do it so.
The conversation went normally and everything was work-related.
Jungkook tried his best, he really did. But he couldn't focus on anything else other than on Jimin's voice, Jimin's gestures, Jimin's scent, Jimin as a whole. Even if Jimin had been clear about his feelings the day before, today he hasn't shown anything related to them yet and it was making Jungkook more confused than he thought he would be.
He knew how Jimin was like, especially when he was working... And he understood that, because he usually was the same, but that day Jungkook just couldn't focus.
