The week kicked off as just as any other working day.

For Jungkook it was filled with meetings after meetings, with a bunch of paperwork in between. For Jimin it was spent in front of his laptop at his apartment, making calls or taking care of emails, always in touch with the young Alpha.

They strictly meant business when they were working like that, and their hard work has for sure been compensating.

It was not easy to manage an entire company remotely, but they were getting there, which meant that they haven't been able to grow much lately, but at least the numbers weren't dropping.

Probably when Jimin would finally able to be back in action, and with the help of Jungkook who had practically the whole necessary formation it was needed for the job, it was expected their profits to shoot up. In the future, they might be able to expand more globally, perhaps trying to target the European and North American market, but for now, they were going step by step.

This day in particular, Jungkook was taking some time in between the meetings to hold the interviews with the new candidates.

The Human Resources did a really good job choosing the people who would fit the position best. They were all people with enough experience and will to work there. Interviews could be tricky though, it was nothing more than a chance for self-advertisement, but at the same time that was exactly why they were a critical part of the all process.

Online interviews were also a thing nowadays for sure, though it was not the same as a face-to-face conversation. Plus, Jimin trusted Jungkook's gut for people, so the young Alpha didn't want to let him down.

More importantly, which was also something that an online interview could not do, but Jungkook, as an Alpha, could, was to tell if the candidates were, in fact, Betas.

So far he had met some of the candidates. Some have had better skills to express themselves than others, and it was something Jungkook made sure to take note of. Charisma was something highly valuable anywhere a person would go after all.

On top of all, he would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about Kim Taehyung's character, mainly because Jimin knew him...

But soon enough, that moment had come.

He really didn't expect anything in particular at first. He was decided to go with the flow, following all the indications for the interviews that he had learned from Jimin, while taking note of everything.

When the time arrived, Taehyung entered the office accompanied by Jimin's secretary.

Within the first few seconds, there were a few things Jungkook could tell...

His perfect punctuality was the first thing he noticed... When the secretary left them alone in the office, the second thing Jungkook noticed was his good looks and fine suit... Even if it was part of the dress code of pretty much any big company in the Northeastern part of Asia to be dressed up like that, he could not have met that criteria... And, finally, the third and last thing Jungkook noticed before they said anything to each other was actually his facial expression...

In fact, it was the same the previous candidates also had when they first stepped into the office...

His quizzable expression could only mean one thing that Jungkook guessed from his previous encounters with the other candidates.

"Twenty-five."

Taehyung just stood there in the middle of the room, quiet for a while, briefly trying to understand what it could mean before he managed to ask:

"Pardon?"

"My age," Jungkook said right back, "it's the fourth interview I'm holding today and the other candidates had the exact same look on their faces... I wonder why, the information is public after all."
