It has been a couple months since I was in the hospital and my morning sickness was a lot better. I did get sick sometimes but it wasn't as bad as before which now I was four months and the baby was moving like crazy. The mood swings were bad along with my cravings where Blackie would catch me in the kitchen in middle of the night eating something
Today was my appointment and Blackie had to focus on something coming up for the band that he had to be at and watch the twins. I got to the doctors and checked in soon sitting down while rubbing my belly when the baby moved. Soon I was with the doctor and laid down while lifting my shirt "can I find out the gender, well can you not say it and put it in an envelope on a paper?"
The doctor nods and goes over things "of course I can." She starts the ultrasound and looks at the baby "your baby is doing really good and it's the right size for a four month baby" she looks at the screen and writes down the gender soon putting it in an envelope. She hands it to Chris and looks at him "pictures?"
I nod and look at the baby "yes please and is everything looking good still?" I worry about the baby
She nods "the baby is doing good..... now how have been your body with carry it?" She feels around his belly and feels the baby move
I think "doing really good and Blackie is getting excited about the baby..... we are still trying to get the twins used to having a new sibling in a few months but they have been all over my belly to feel the baby move..... no kicking yet but I'm glad the baby is moving"
She nods "what kind of birth were you thinking?" She checks over other things
I hum "we have been wanting a home birth and a water birth in our bathroom so hopefully the baby will be okay. We'll keep someone on dial if things aren't going good"
She looks at the charts "Hey Chris I do want you to keep taking your prenatal vitamins and eating healthy because I noticed that the baby was a good size but she's a little low on her weight which is no worry when babies are born but keep doing what you have doing. Once you and Blackie know the gender, you will know why"
I nod and feel worried but excited about everything. I left and got home soon relaxing while eating some fruit. The envelope was on the counter and I felt nervous when I didn't know what to think about Blackie wanting to know the gender. Soon I look up when my husband and the boys came in the house " welcome home my loves!" I rub my belly and ate more soon feeling nervous
Blackie comes over and kisses Chris "hey sweetie, how was the appointment? How are you feeling?" He puts things down and rubs Chris's belly gently

I look at him and smile "went amazing but the doctor said she wants me to keep eating and taking my vitamins because the baby is low on weight but the baby is healthy..... I didn't know if you wanted to find out the gender but I'm so excited to find out the minute the doctor told me that we can know. I got it on a paper in an envelope! I don't know the gender yet" he smiles and saw something was wrong when Blackie stopped smiling "what's wrong?"
He looks at the boys "hey boys, why don't you two go to play in your room. Me and mama need to talk" he sees the boys leave the room and looks at Chris "babe, I wanted the gender to be a surprise and why didn't you have me go to this appointment?" He tries to be calm
I look away and frown "well I knew this appointment was last minute and I didn't want to stop you from working on stuff with the band.....I just wanted to know the gender"
He looks at him and get irritated soon sighing while rubbing the bridge of his nose "Chris just be patient and wait till birth please..... I'm kinda pissed about this but don't want to yell"
I feel upset and looked away "Blackie I thought you wanted to know!" I raise my voice
"Chris! Fucking sakes!!!! I wanted it to be a surprise but you went on your own to an appointment that I didn't know and go to make a decision without me knowing!"
I get up slowly and get mad "well I wanted to know Blackie!!!!! I'm excited about this baby!" I start to cry and yell more "you knew I wanted this and now you aren't gonna make this easy on me?!" I sob and walk away
He feels bad and grabs Chris "babe, come here" he feels his husband pull away and watches him walk away
I sob after pulling away and went outside to calm down but saw it was raining. I sat on the porch swing and sobbed for a while.
He tried to think what to do and tries to find Chris for a while. After four hours, he decides to look for him after giving him space. He finds him on the porch in their special spot and got a blanket soon starting tea. He goes outside and brings everything including the envelope "hey babe"
I sob and look away while shakily rubbing my belly "I'm sorry that I didn't listen Blackie. We don't have to find out the gender"
He puts the blacker over Chris and hands him the tea soon sitting next to him. He rubs his belly gently and looks at Chris "babe, I was hard on you.... Stop crying it's okay"
I sob loudly and almost drop the cup "I can't! It's my fault" I try to calm down
He takes the tea for now and puts on the table immediately taking him into his arms. He cuddles him and kisses his head "shhhh calm down" he whispers
After a few I finally calm down and cuddle into my husband. I felt better and felt Blackie lift my shirt soon rubbing my belly more
He looks at him and calms him down more "babe, can I ask you why you wanted to know the gender?" He feels the baby move
I shed tears "I wanted to find out the gender because this is new to me.... I'm excited to actually be pregnant and to learn about our baby. I'm very excited to have a baby move every day in me and I feel that special connection with you and the baby"
He looks at him and nods "well you could've told me before babe.... I wouldn't got so mad which I shouldn't have been hard on you. I did want it to be a surprise but that's okay.... We can look at the gender in a minute"

I calm down and close my eyes soon cuddling into Blackie with our hands on my belly. I look at him and jumped when I felt something weird in me soon feeling something hit our hands "is the baby kicking?"
He feels and gets emotional "yes babe..... the baby is kicking" he feels excited about the baby and pulls out the envelope
I cry happily and see the envelope "blackie we don't have to find out the gender" I felt bad
He looks at him and smiles "let's just find out babe.....it's here so why not?" He starts to open the envelope and pulls out the paper "here we are..... you open the paper"
I get emotional and smile while opening the paper soon gasping "look" I hand it to my husband
He looks and gets excited soon sobbing loudly "a....a little girl!" He laughs and kisses his husband soon kissing his belly
I sob and kiss him back soon cupping his face in my hands "a little girl! A princess that you always wanted"
