It's only been a few weeks since that nightmare happened. Since we lost Adam, Eve, and 1X... and others. Yet, with how YoRHa functions, nothing seemed to change. It was still business as usual. Of course, 7O, 2X, 10B, and 9S all saw things differently―hell, 2X was even more adamant that 1X was somehow still alive than I was. But, as we all know, YoRHa androids aren't supposed to show emotions and if they did they'd get lectured for it. So, it was understandable that they didn't really talk about it unless it was just us.

But, at least the Resistance members weren't stiff like that. And the atmosphere actually felt like how it should when people depart. And, how it gradually gets better over time.

As for Luciel, he was hiding out in a variety of locations, mainly Pascal's village. He was―unsurprisingly―still labelled an enemy of YoRHa since he was the last remaining humanoid machine. The Commander also send out androids to track him down, namely 2X and 10B yet 7O always tells them to defy her at least for that order.

Other than that, I was primarily focused on trying to figure out the perfect way to go about my idea―to fix everything wrong with how the YoRHa androids were treated. But, there was one small problem.

"Are you sure there isn't any way that I can meet her?"

"I am positive," 7O responded.

"Look, I know that I can't go up in space but what if―"

"(Y/n), you simply can't. The only way to do so is if she'll willing to leave the Bunker and I know she isn't."

I huffed in annoyance, not at Seven but at the fact that I knew he was right.

"At least talk to her?"

"You know, she's not going to give this up right?" 10B, who had been sitting off to the side in silence spoke up at last, "Look, you and I both know there is another way."

"A video conference? The Commander isn't going to agree to―"

"Not that! God, old man, you know better than anyone here."

I glanced between the two before slowly realizing what 10B was hinting at. And, if I was being honest, the idea had crossed my mind a few times.

"Fair point. But, I doubt (Y/n) would wanna do it that way." The operator took a peek at me as he spoke. Shortly, he let out a sigh, "The other way is using your status against her."

"Honestly, I've thought about that," I admitted, "I wanted to avoid it... however, with how things are, I don't think I have much of a choice. Seven, are you sure you can't just talk to her one more time about it?"

The male unit sighed as he shook his head, "I don't really think I can. Even before you arrived, I've tried getting her out and about but she's always declined stating that the Bunker is her top priority."

"Wow, even the bitch has dedication." Ten remarked.

"Watch it, 10B."

"Okay, okay... anyways, sorry to change topics but any updates on Xto?" The berserker huffed before adjusting his position.

"What do you mean 'updates'? Is she in maintenance?" I questioned confusedly.

"No, she's out on a mission," Seven answered, looking at his screen. "She hasn't alerted, but you can go out if you like, I can watch over (Y/n) until you get back."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, I know you're anxious. Now go."

10B sprang up with a nod before strolling over to me and patting me on the head, "Be good while I'm out."
