"Why are you smiling, sweetie~?" Luciel softly purred towards me. Even though he was standing behind me, he knew I was smiling.

"You already know why," I hummed back.

It's true, he did. That's why he had gone behind me with his lance out in front of me like how a person would hold someone at knifepoint. He might be a cheeky and flirty machine, but he was scary when he desired to be.

He just huffed as he heard footsteps come closer to the room we were in. "You're lucky, cutie. You know that?"

What does that mean?

To my surprise, he released his stance and walked to another area in the room, one that I hadn't noticed. There, where he now stood, was a door that mingled into the wall. Of course, the door didn't blend in during the years the hospital was active, it's just that the colourization of the walls and doors faded as the centuries went by.

"We'll see you again. But, for now, I must go retrieve Eve. Seeya, sweetheart~."

And, with that, he withdrew from the room, sliding through the door before sealing it. I was left there by myself, still tied to the chair. I began to try to get out of the binds until I heard the door slammed open.

I glanced up to see an android I've never met. She reminded me of 2B, but with teal coloured hair and she appeared... angry. "So you're the stupid human."

Stupid?

"13B, be nicer. Remember, what we're doing this for," another female android uttered as she wandered past the one she called 13B.

The female, who came in after the battle unit, had pink hair and seemed much more gentle. "Where did the machine go that was holding you hostage?"

"I... I don't know," I lied. Sure, they took 9S captive and took me hostage while sending machines after my friends. But, somehow, I still liked them.

They're only doing it to understand human life, to find more humans other than me. Right?

The teal-haired female scoffed, "Yeah, sure you don't."

"13, why don't you check up on 9B and 26B?"

"Whatever."

Once the pinked-haired unit got me untied, she stood up and offered me a hand. "Sorry about her, she's always like that. Oh, and I'm 4D."

I smiled at her and took her hand, "It's fine. I'm (Y/n)."

"That's a very pretty name," she noted, "Say, how about we get you out of here?"

The group of androids were an interesting bunch. So far, though, only 4D seemed to be the nicest out of the four. But... I was confused, they never told me where we were going. Quite frankly, they led me away from the direction of the Resistance Camp.

I know, I know. Why didn't I ran away from them and get to the camp myself? Well, I was going to until 26B grabbed my arm and just started yanking me along.

They weren't going to let me go, that's for sure.
