Kumakain kami ngayon sa hotel may mga restaurant kasi dito para sa mga gustong kumain.
Habang kumakain sila ay may tumawag sa pangalan niya, kaya naman tinignan niya ito at nakita niya si Rogian na papalapit sa kanila kasama ang isa pang lalaki, kaya naman nginitian niya ito, ang mga kaibigan naman niya ay nakatingin lang sa kanila, kaya naman tumayo siya at sinalubing ang dumating.
“Hi.” he said.
“Hey.” I said then glance at the man beside him.
“Oh, yeah, this is my friend,” he said then he tap the man's shoulder. “Rigeth.” he said.
“Hi,” I said then move my hand toward him. “It's nice to meet you.” I said.
“Rigeth, this is Jasper.” Rogian said.
“It's nice to meet you too.” he said then he take my hand.
After that he let go of my hand and look at my back where my friends is sitting.
“Ah, I forgot. This is my friends. Saoirse, Nova, Skyla, Winifred and Athena.” I said.
They both greet each other, we offer them to eat with us but they refuse because they have to go somewhere, then after that they just leave after they bid their goodbye to us, so we continue our breakfast.
Pagkatapos naming mag-agahan ay bumalik ako sa room namin para magpahinga, sila Athena naman ay maglilibot muna daw sila, kasama ko si Winifred na ayaw sumama kila Athena.
Nang makapasok ay agad akong pumunta sa veranda para tignan ang magandang tanawin sa baba, ng biglang magring ang phone ko, ng tinignan ko ito ay nakita kong si Azrael ang tumatawag, kaya naman agad ko rin itong sinagot.
“Who is that man?” he ask, his breath is so deep.
“Who?” I ask, confused.
“The one your talking awhile ago.” he said.
“You saw?” I ask. “You're here? Where are you?” I ask.
“Later. I'll come to you. I just need to do something.” he said.
“But, you're here right?” I said.
“Why?” he said, his breathe is fanning the phone and his baritone voice is so fucking deep.
“Nothing. I'm just confirming.” I said while struggling my shoulder.
“Don't change the topic Azariah.” he said.
“Geesh I'm not changing the topic.” I said and rolled my eyes.
“Then why are you talking to 'that' damn man.” he said while emphasizing the word 'that.'
“Nothing. I just met him yesterday and he just want to introduce his friend,” as I said that I rolled my eyes heavenward. “If that's all you want to say then I'll hangup.” I said.
“Wait, what are you doing?” he said.
“Nothing, I'm just looking at the scenery on the veranda.” I said. “You what are you doing.” I ask.
“Nothing, just a usual thing.” he said.
“I have a question.” I said.
“Hm, what?” he ask.
“What are we? Are you courting me?” I ask confusedly.
He became silent for a moment. Habang hindi siya nagsasalita ay parang ang haba ng oras.
“Yeah, isn't that obvious?” he said afteng moment.
“Ah, okay. I'll hang up na.” I said.
“Yeah. See you later.” he said.
“Later, then.” I said then hang up the phone.
I put my phone on the table. And look at the scenery in front of me, as I take a deep breath.
Time moved fast and it's already past noon, and I'm currently laying down on bed, when my phone rang, I took it and answer the call.
“What?” I boredly ask.
“Where are you?” he said
“In our room.” I said.
“Okay, be ready at 5 p.m sharp and wait me there. I'll call you when I'm there.” he said then hang up the call he didn't wait for my answer.
When I look at the time on my phone it's already 3:27 p.m so I stood up saka ako kumuha ng susuotin ko atsaka na ako naligo. 4:45 na ng matapos akong maligo at mag ayos kaya naman maghihintay nalang ako ng tawag. Habang naghihintay ako ay, I'm just scrolling through my phone, when my phone rang and it is Azrael who's calling me.
“Come here.” he said.
“Where?” I ask.
“Outside your room.” he said.
“Okay.” I said then end the call.
I took a deep breath as I walk toward the door ng makarating ako doon ay agad kong binuksan ang pinto at bumungad ang gwapong mukha ni Azrael.
“Let's go?” tanong niya saka niya kinuha ang kamay ko, ngumiti naman ako sa kaniya.
“Let's go.” I said.
Habang naglalakad papunta sa elevator ay hawak niya ang kamay ko habang hinihila rin ako.
“Wait.” sa ilang minuto naming paglalakad ay pinahinto niya ko sa entrance ng hotel.
“Bakit?” nagtatakang tanong ko naman dito.
“Blindfold.” Aniya saka nilabas ang isang piraso ng tela. “Can I?”
“Yeah, sure. Whatever.” Sabi ko sabay irap sa kaniya, kaya naman natatawa niyang inilagay ang blindfold.
“It will be fast, promise.” Aniya habang itinatali ang tela sa likod, pagkatapos ay kinuha niya ang kamay ko. “Just do what I say, okay?” Aniya.
“Yeah.” Sabi ko dahil hindi ko nakikita ang dinadaanan namin.
“Okay, now let's go.” he said then he guide me where to step, when to stop, and how to start.
Ano na naman kaya ang pakulo ng gwapong lalaking to.
Pagkalipas ng ilang minuto naming paglalakad ay tumigil naman kami.
“Stay here, okay?” he said then hold both of my shoulder then face me to right. “If I say that you can remove your blindfold, remove it okay?” he said.
“Ano na naman ba to?” I ask.
“Secret to.” natatawang sabi niya. “Do you understand what I said earlier?” he ask, tumango naman ako. “Stay here, okay? Do what I say.” he repeated.
“Yeah, yeah, just go.” I said, then I feel his hand letting go of my shoulder.
After a long silence I heard a rustle from a distance.
“Azrael?” I said.
“Yeah, I'm here.” he said.
“Can I remove it now?” I ask.
“Ah! Wait..” he said then I heard a whispers. “You can remove it now.”
As a remove the blindfold, I can't see something so I blink a couple of time to adjust my vision.
Nang mag adjust ang paningin ko ay tumingin naman ako sa harap when I heard a soft music and I also see Azrael holding a bouquet of white roses while his friends and my friends is at the back of him, smiling at me.
