Portia's POV

Gulat akong lumingon sakanya, I felt my throat dried up and my heart wasn't beating any normal anymore because of the familiar feeling and words that she used to say whenever she was saving me.

Man, this woman has been giving me off the same vibes just like it was before. I don't think she doesn't know how her presence could easily kill me in any minute by now.

"Are you guys, okay?"Tanong ni Lydia nang makalapit, nahihiya naman akong tumango dahil pakiramdam ko ay namumula na ang buong mukha ko.

Halos ilan lang ang salitang binigkas niya na pwedeng mabilang sa kamay, pero ang lakas ng epeketo sakin. Why are you making this harder for us, Miss Veronica?

"Those bastards," She gritted her teeth. "They don't even know who they are messing with." Gigil na saad ni Regina.

"Nakakapag english ka pala Regina." Pambasag bigla ni Lucas sakanya, which made us laughed. That made the atmosphere lighter dahil parang isa samin ay konti nalang sasabog na dahil sa nangyare.

"Panira ka ng moment ano?" Naiinis niyang sabi. Magsasalita pa sana si Lucas pero biglang may narinig kaming nag salita at hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nakaramdam ng kaba.

I just suddenly felt like I was running out of time as if she was slowly drifting away from me and when I faced the person who called someone out, I knew..there was something more within this day.

"Hon?"

A woman voice interrupted our moment, she was wearing a smile and heading towards our direction. I thought she was just making a mistake, but I heard a gasped from my friends and suddenly I got stiffened in my position when I realized who she was calling...

it was my woman.

"You're late,"

She chuckled and then her lips brush off within the side of her lips, which made my eyes widen. "I'm sorry, I was having this meeting with a huge client." Her gaze went off through the hands of the woman who was still holding me - obviously trying to read the situation between us.

I was about to shove off it away as I felt a sting inside my chest, but Lydia already made a move and pulled me in against her body.

It hurts.

Her hands went to gently stroking my back and I could see in my peripheral vision the worriedness between their stares, but I think I was still processing what happened. Tila natulala ako sa nangyayare dahil parang ang bilis ng lahat.

Pero higit sa lahat, why is she with her? Bakit mag kasama silang dalawa? Ito na ba bago niya, at mismong kaibigan ko pa?

"Introduce me to them, hon. I know I'm familiar with some of them, pero hindi lahat." She shyly said while rubbing her thumb with hers, while currently keeping an eye of us.

Hon..ayun lang ang tanging naririnig ko ngayon sa paraan ng pagtawag niya, para akong binabalot ng katahimikan sa aking tenga. Nahihirapan ako bigla mag salita at para akong kinakapos ng hininga. Gusto kong umiyak at magalit, but I am not used on letting myself be weak in public.

Hindi na ba ako, Miss Veronica?

Siya na ba?

Pero bakit sa lahat ng tao, siya pa?

"These are my students from Lockwood University before," She said and mentioned our names while pointing us out. Pero ang marinig ang pangalan ko sa mismong labi ngayon ay hindi na katulad ng dati, parang pilit at puno ng hinanakit.
