lunch!

Will walked into the lunch room, scanning the room for someone he atleast knew when his eyes landed on Dustin, he walked over to Dustin's table and sat down next to him and Mike. "Hey man!" Dustin smiled at him happily, will flashed a nervous smile "hi.." mike smiled at will moving his eyes off Gareth who was sitting at an afar table with the rest of the band, "gosh today is so tiring" will laughed lightly "yeah it has been!"

Dustin thought for a moment before asking, "do y'all want to hang out after school?" Mike had band practice but will had just gotten back and he didn't want to miss a chance to hang out out with his old best friend "yeah sure! If wills up to it?" He stared will in the eyes waiting for an answer "oh uh sure..where?" Will asked nervously he didn't like being stared down usually, but this time he felt more flustered by it considering it was mike wheeler staring him down..

"Steve's signature makeout spot is where me and Dustin usually hangout!" Mike and Dustin usually just talk and laugh about stupid shit "he has a signature makeout spot?" Will giggled softly, "yeah it's called skull rock i think.." Dustin answered back, looking at mike with the remembrance of their friend Eddie who had passed, Dustin had a slightly gloomy face mike wasn't quite sure why.

"That's cool!" Will responded, he thought everything they did was cool all he did was draw and listen to music in his eyes that was pretty boring. At that very moment a blonde head boy walked up, it was Jason. mike sighed "what do you want Jason?" Jason came to their lunch table every day it was completely and utterly annoying! "Oh i was just wondering who your new friend was?" Will nervously stared blankly his posture set straight and stiff, (something he wasn't) "i uhm- I'm will byers?"  Will responded nervously, Jason chuckled and looked back at his basketball mates, "you sit like a fag!" Wills heart immediately dropped to the bottom of his stomach he couldn't stand hearing that word, the words his father called him, the word he was bullied with, mike scoffed "just leave us alone!" Jason smirked a little and ruffled Mike's hair "whatever losers!" as Jason walked off, will fixed his tightly put together legs and tried to sit more like a straight person, "don't listen to him he's a complete jerk!" Dustin complained, "i noticed" will added in complete disgust of who he had just met, Dustin and Mike had chatted the rest of lunch, mike occasionally looking will up and down in admiration and will doing the same never at the same time, will kept quiet the whole lunch time he was a bit saddened by what he had been told by Jason.
