When Joyce and Hopper got home from work will couldn't wait to tell them about his day, but they seemed so tired and he didn't want to bother them..but when Joyce was sitting at the table eating her frozen dinner she asked will who was sitting on the couch watching tv, "how was your day sweetie?'

Will was so happy she asked! "Oh it was great me and Michael talked during science and we skipped a period to chat on the bleachers.." he then went on to rant about mike Wich Joyce was absolutely amazed about the amount of information she had just collected about mike..

"So Mike's not ignoring you like he used to?" Joyce asked, mike had ignored him before when he was dating eleven. "Nope! He's actually excited to be my friend" Joyce could tell that will had some sort of crush on mike "do you like him more than a friend?"

Joyce wasn't afraid to ask this since will already came out to her, will knew he liked mike and always has but he was scared to admit it to himself, "uh i don't know about that.." Joyce nodded knowing the truth

After a while of chatting with his mom about mike, and school, along with some of Joyce's work drama will headed to his room and slept great knowing that mike actually liked him even if it was as friends only!
