a Beautiful Drummer; byler

after school mike and will met up at their lockers together, when they the mike turn on "all students, please prepare for the winter dance" the principle said before you heard a sharp noise signifying it turned off.

mike looked up at will with a smirk, "i don't have a date to the dance.." mike said and will giggled "yeah..no...were two guys idiot-" mike had a bit of a worried face, "and?" he said not understanding what will was saying.

"if people saw us dancing together were practically dead and you know it!!"  mike sighed and nodded, "okay so were going to the park with Dustin today.." will said before slamming his locker shut and walking down the hall.

they pushed through the doors and began walking to the park, mike still had wills jacket which was okay because will was wearing a sweater, they walked and waked up until a few streets when will said, "fuck." in a distressed voice, "whats wrong will..?" mike asked hoping that he might've just forgot something at school.

"i forgot Jason's homework!" will got a bit worried, right before Halloween Jason had will do some of his homework, "what do you mean *Jason's* homework?!" will let out a big sigh "nothing Michael." mike shook his head so ready to beat Jason's ass, but a bigger worry was why will was calling him Michael??

mike was going to get all moody and ask about it but he didn't want to mess up this relationship the second time, eventually they got to the park and you could definitely see Dustin from afar on the swings, mike got excited and ran up to Dustin who he hadn't spoken to in a full week.

" hey dust-G!!" mike  exclaimed and Dustin got up from the swing and shouted "mike-G!!" will just giggled and walked up to the two, "so what y'all made nicknames without me?" will asked sarcastically, "will-G!!" both the boys shouted in sync, great minds think alike.

they all giggled for like four seconds before will interrupted, "my house got egged last night.." odd way to start a conversation but alright,mike tugged all his extra thoughts away and remembered everything about last night,crap.

"damn that must suck dude, anyways i have a question for you two!" Dustin started off, "yes?" will asked nervously, "you two are dating right?" Dustin asked i mean he was sure of it he literally saw them kiss twice, will decided to lie once again. "oh well we actually just sort of started dating today..."

mike didn't mind though he just went along with it, they then went on to talk about holidays and how stupid it was that the winter dance is this month when its not even thanksgiving yet and its still fall. they talked about that for about three hours.

 by the end of those three hours mike was wrapped around will and Dustin was acting like its a normal everyday thing he sees,  "so yeah my dreams are really fuc-" Dustin was talking about a weird dream he had when he was interrupted by two loud cough and a sniffle coming from mike.

"i told you you'd get sick Michael!!" will stood up and set his hands on mikes backside to carry him, "i gotta get going anyways will, bye!" Dustin yelped before running into the forest and will continued to go and carry mike all the way home.

when they got  there will rang the doorbell and Nancy answered, right behind her was robin..guess they were having girl time? "oh is he being a big baby?" Nancy teased, "well i think he got sick because dummy here wont wear a jacket!" will said "he's had worse, he'll live!".

Nancy dragged mike inside and thanked will with a big slam of the door, mikes limp body plopped onto the couch and didn't wake up until past dinner, his family ate dinner without him just like that, how rude.
