"what the hell!!" Will exclaimed he was pissed that mike had left just because of his stupid step dad!

"What?" Hopper said calmly back, he didn't see what he did wrong.

"We were hanging out?! Why'd you make him leave!!?"

Hopper shrugged at the anger that will was most definitely emitting off of himself.

"Y'all were doing queer shit!"

Will was shocked, hopper wasn't mad at him for it? But kind of was? It didn't make sense..

"Okay and?!" Will wanted to beat the hell out of that old man so bad-

"And? You shouldn't be! Especially with Michael!!!"

But before will could say anything Joyce started rushing up behind hopper "why did mike leave in such a rush?!" Joyce had been in the front yard with her flowers.

Hopper turned around and shook his head "I found the two smooching! Like two queers!"

Joyce was shocked at what hopper had just called them but also not too suprised, "okay and?! Oh my gosh let will do his so called"queer shit"?!"

"Ew no! He's going to get aids?!" Hopper lightly yelled back, "he's not going to get aids from kissing another boy?!"

"How do you know tha-" hopper was cut off when will walked up to his door and slammed it.

He was so annoyed that mike had to leave for absolutely nothing, he threw himself face first onto his bad and groaned into his pillow.

The slamming of the door left both his parents in shock, as they realized how upset he was Joyce death stared hopper, "you better go in there and apologize" she whispered so will couldn't hear.

"Why?! I didn't do anything wrong?!" I didn't know there was such thing as whisper yelling but hopper made it possible.

"Now." Joyce said in a tone that would make any grown man piss himself, "fine! fine!" Hopper was just as annoyed as will.

he opened the door and started with his apology, "hey kid, sorry I chased your little friend off"

Hopper could feel Joyce's motherly smile from behind him, and knew that at least if he did this he wouldn't have burnt toast for the rest of the week.

Will ignored the apology and turned his back towards hopper in annoyance.

Hopper decided to try and have a talk with will instead of just trying to apologize, he walked over and sat on the foot of the bed his posture was absolutely horrendous.

"So you like boys?" He asked trying to figure out more of the situation.

Will sat up still refusing to make eye contact with hopper, "yeah? What about it?"

"Why? Why do you like boys?"
Will was so weirded out by this question how does he even answer that?!

He looked up finally looking hopper in the eyes, "well why do you like girls?" He said in response hoping hopper would understand.

"So do you want to be a girl?" Hopper asked in concern, will was so confused as to why liking boys meant he wanted to be a girl.

"What? No..I'm a boy that likes boys!"
Hopper nodded trying to understand, "and mike likes boys too?"

Will made a bit of a thinking face, "yeah I think..but he likes girls too?"

Hopper nodded to this response thinking he may finally understand "and y'all, as two boys like each other?"

Will nodded "yeah is it a problem?" Hopper shook his head no, and went on to ask another question.

"And mike isn't weirded out by it?"
Will shook his head "no, he's not ashamed of what he is? It's called acceptance?"

Hopper thought for a moment, he hated mike being with his children, mike in his eyes was just a no good drum playing smoker that just wants to smooch his kids.

"Do you accept me?" Will asked extremely nervous that hopper would turn out like Lonnie.

"No..yeah, I mean yeah I do?"
Will smiled slightly he had a father that excepted him, that wanted him even though he was into boys.

He was so happy that tears started filling his eyes, he thought he was absolutely out of tears from to much crying but maybe it was just Mike's magic.

Hopper noticed wills damp lashes, and wet eyes, with a tear rolling down his face.

"Woah kid! Did I say something wrong?!"

Will didn't respond he just shot his self onto hopper hugging him tightly, he was hugging his very own father something he's never been able to do.

Hopper sighed in relief and patted will on the back, he knew wills history with his biological dad but he never knew why his dad did what he did until this moment.

"Hey kid, don't kiss mike better yet kiss a different boy.."
Will laughed lightly his head still over hoppers shoulder, "I won't kiss mike AS MUCH"

Hopper rolled his eyes dramatically "if that's as good as it's going to get.."

Hopper pulled the bowl cut leach off of him by the shoulders, "your father's tooken care of..I made sure of it."

Will sighed and scooted back from him, "well I should go finish my coffee!" Hopper said as he got back will just nodded still sitting on his bed comfortably.

But the moment hopper opened the door Joyce fell to the floor once again she had been listening in as per usual.

Hopper looked back at will who was also staring at her in shock before the two of them started bursting out in soft laughs.

Hopper pulled Joyce up from the ground who instantly started to chitter chatter with him as he closed the door.
