Cordelia
We were on the move again. Harry and Hermione strode on ahead of Ron and me as we walked through a large empty field. It probably wasn't the wisest to be out in the open like this, but we were in the middle of nowhere.
I noticed that Ron was glaring at Harry's back. His arm was held against his chest in a sling, and he mumbled frustratedly to himself. It was his turn to wear the horcrux and I could tell it was affecting him. There were big dark bags hanging under his eyes and he looked like he hadn't slept in months. We had to stop and find shelter countless times due to death eaters flying through the sky in large tendrils of black smoke. We walked for miles and miles with the hum of Ron's radio informing us on any missing witches and wizards.
Our latest setup was by the side of a lake. Ron lay in his bed, still listening to the drone of the radio whilst I sat opposite Harry as Hermione snipped away at his hair. Hermione stopped suddenly. "Oh my God." She said in revelation.
"What?!" Harry said anxiously feeling the back of his head.
"I'll tell you in a minute." She replied as she flicked through nearby books.
"Maybe you could tell us now?" I offered coming to look at what she was searching for.
"The sword of Gryffindor. It's goblin made."
"Brilliant." Harry said still not understanding.
"No, you don't understand. Dirt and rust have no effect on the blade." She explained. "It only takes in that which makes it stronger."
"Okay?" He was still confused.
"Harry, you already destroyed one horcrux."
"Hold up. You what now?" I asked baffled.
"Tom Riddle's diary in the Chamber of Secrets." Hermione answered. My eyes were wide with surprise.
"And you couldn't have told me that earlier?"
"Sorry."
"Hermione, I destroyed it with a Basilisk fang. If you tell me you've got one of those in that bloody beaded bag of yours." Harry said.
"Don't you see? In the chamber of secrets, you stabbed the Basilisk with the Sword of Gryffindor. Its blade is impregnated with Basilisk Venom."
"It only takes in that which makes it stronger." I said in realization.
