"I see you. I know what you have done. I have eyes on your little girlfriend too. With just so much of a whisper I can have her dead. Come to the forbidden forest now, or the consequences will be grave."

I walked to the edge of the Forbidden forest. To the point where if I stepped a foot forward I would be unprotected by the forcefield. He'd come alone. Surprisingly. I watched him walk towards me. He looked so small without his army, so weak. He was a meter away now. Neither of us said anything for a few minutes. We just stared at each other.

"What the fuck do you want?" I spat out, finally breaking the silence.

"To see you." He said. I scoffed at his answer.

"You threaten my girlfriend's life just because you were feeling sentimental."

"Not exactly." He said stepping closer. I could feel the magic of the force field between us pulse nervously. "I needed to look into your eyes."

"And?"

"Have you really sided against me?" His words shocked me. He sounded, dare I say, sad? I stared blankly at him. "Your mother is here isn't she? I can feel her." I grimaced, still not answering him. "That little stunt you pulled with Gnash and Knotley was quite impressive I must say. It took us weeks to find their rotting bodies. Of course the deer and foxes had already had their fun with them." He was trying to get a rise out of me but I wasn't budging. "Will you say something?" I didn't. "Please, say something!"

"What would you like me to say?" I exhaled angrily. "This past year I've found out that my father is a liar. You had entrapped my mother in a house where no one was aloud to see her, erased the memories of all who knew her, and then tried to turn my girlfriend into a death eater. Not to mention your empty threats to kill her and myself."

"Empty?" He began to laugh. "There's nothing empty about my threats, you should know that my boy."

"I'm not your boy."

"Yes! You are! You are a Riddle whether you like it or not. There's no escaping it, so start acting like one!"

"I won't! I'm not your son anymore. You are nothing to me." I snarled. "So if that's everything, I'd like to leave to prepare for whatever tricks you've got up your sleeve."

"This is war boy, I don't quite think you understa-"

"I understand perfectly. And I know which side I'm on. I can't wait to see you fall, Father." I smirked before turning and walking back up to the castle.
