During the whole ride, they both kept quiet. Taylor had felt as if she had been a criminal or had hurt him somehow. After such a beautiful night and half morning, she wasn't expecting him to burst over the simplest thing in that kind of way. It made her feel terrible about it.
Later, they reached the building. Even when they got out of the car and entered the elevator, Taylor tried to keep a distance from him. Joe hadn't noticed. He was lost in his thoughts. He had shivered but no one see. It was weird just like the atmosphere which was surrounding them.
What they did was to get out of the elevator and get straight inside their office without even waving at their secretaries. Joanne and Sara exchanged looks full of curiosity for their bosses.
"Fight" Joanne whispered and Sara nodded
"Obviously. She didn't even look back at him" Sara said
"I think she was kind of disappointed and pissed"
"Duh. Didn't you see her face?"
"No she was wearing sunglasses"
Sara rolled her eyes "Her jaw was clenched Joanne and she probably has black circles under her eyes, that's why she was wearing the sunglasses"
"She can have black circles for many reasons Sara" Joanne slapped her forehead
"Oh yeah? Give me one"
"They could have had sex during the night. It was a really profitable night. They got excited and they fucked. Simple" she shrugged her shoulders
"Holy shit ... That's it! Joanne you're a genius! He didn't fuck her right this time and she's mad at him!" she fell back in her chair laughing hard
"Shhhh!" Joanne shushed her "They'll hear you!" she warned her
"Fine but why don't we-" she got cut off by the phone ringing
"Wait, I gotta pick it up" Joanne cleared her throat and picked up the phone "Good morning, boss's office"
"You and Sara in our office. Now!" Taylor shouted a little through the phone
"Yes Mrs Alwyn" she said and Taylor hang up the phone
"Let's go, let's go. She's mad!" Joanne whispered and both of the secretaries got up from their seats and followed the way to the office. Then they got inside and Taylor's cold and intimidating look gazed them. They both felt shivers everywhere. Joe looked as if he didn't give a shit about anything at all.
"Tell me who are about to sign with us" there was something dark in the tone of her voice
"Uhm for now Stella Paulo, John Pattison, Jake Mayers, Sean Miller, Dawn Stone, and new customers such as Blake Smith, Sally Jackson, Jane Jones, Tom Clark and one of the best, Joseph Klein from Calvin Klein's" she informed them
