Marinette was the one who decided to combine both of their passions into a single dress. It was a red and black polka-dotted ball gown that represented their favorite book 'The tales of Lady Bug and Chat Noir." Which worked both ways, since Marinette was a fashion designer and Adrien was a male model.

While the book is not very well known to other people their age, It was very surprising to both of them that they were into the children's book. It was like a lost treasure that they sworn they'd keep a secret to themselves. But here they were now, reciting romantic events that happened in the series like it was the Bible.

"Mr. Pigeon is by far the worst villain!" Marinette groaned in frustration while scribbling her work in her notebook. "I mean, who the hell gets triggered by a bunch of birds!"

"I hate birds, I'm allergic," Adrien muttered, replying to her, sitting beside the bluenette as he watched her conjure up some designs. In the last few hours, Marinette had come up with a LadyBug pantsuit, LadyBug Overalls, and even a LadyBug hat. Adrien couldn't deny, they were all pretty good.

If there was one thing Adrien could compliment Marinette on, it was her creativity.

While her room was trashed with fabric and crumpled failed design papers on the floor, there were a few mannequins that stood tall with pretty dresses; with the weirdest colors coming together to accentuate the outfit. It was crazy but unique.

Father would love a girl like her.

"You're allergic to birds?" Marinette giggled to herself, imagining the thought of Adrien constantly sneezing and running away from a single pigeon. "Note to self, chase Adrien with a feather."

Adrien glared at the bluenette as if she had just threatened him with his absolute worst nightmare. "Reaaal mature, Dupain-Cheng."

"Seriously? Still on a last-name basis?" Marinette called Adrien with his first name, yet she still hadn't heard the word 'Marinette' leave his mouth at all. "Try to say it. Try to say Marinette."

He rolled his eyes, "Nah, I think Dupain-Cheng sounds better."

Marinette ignored his comment. Chloe called Marinette by her last name too. Except, it was more exaggerated than the way Adrien says it. But Marinette shouldn't be surprised. He and Chloe were cut from the same cloth, after all. They could be siblings if it weren't for Chloe's weird obsession with Adrien.

Instead of pressuring Adrien any further, she stared at her work and nodded at the image. She was pretty content with their first draft, but she needed to add Adrien's opinion since this was a group project. She slid her work towards him, leaning closer to the book to erase any minor mistakes, and smiled. She hadn't noticed how she unconsciously closed the distance between her and Adrien and innocently looked at him for his opinions.

This small harmless action of hers made the boy flinch. Her face was a few centimeters away from his chin, and Adrien could smell a whiff of her hair; the scent of pastries as well as her blueberry-scented shampoo and conditioner.

Adrien's face slightly began to heat. She's too close...

Marinette hadn't noticed but, Adrien's eyes trailed down from her hair to her lips. They were pink, smeared with lip gloss, and plumped to perfection. Not only did Marinette have amazing teeth, but she had a beautiful smile. Another thing Adrien hadn't noticed until now, was that he was a few inches away from her face.

He quickly jerked his head wiped away the thoughts of Marinette's lips and gritted his teeth in embarrassment. This was when he began to realize that their bodies sat close to each other. Have been for the past few hours. And since Adrien was beginning to open his eyes in realization, he also noticed how they never sat in awkward silence. They had only been spending time together for about 2 hours, yet something about Marinette was quite comforting to Adrien that he couldn't help but feel conscious of her.
