Marinette rushed to the restroom and finished her business within 3 minutes. World record if you asked her. Thankfully there were hardly any people out in the restroom, probably because Nino, one of Paris' most famous DJ was playing right now.

But as soon as she exited the restroom, she heard a deep voice call out her name in surprise. "Adrien that was only 3--" she turned her head expecting to meet the impatient blonde waiting for her out of the restroom, but instead was met with pale skin and cyan-colored hair. Her eyes widened as she stood face to face with a man she hadn't met in years. "L-Luka..?"

They both stared at each other dumbfounded, surprised to see the other, especially at a place like this. "What're you doing here?!" They asked simultaneously.

"My dad's playing..." Luka smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head as he turned away as if she wouldn't notice the small blush playing on his cheeks. "I always come and watch his shows."

Marinette nodded and forced a smile, glancing at the stage Nino played and saw Jagged Stone and his alligator preparing to play for the next set. "Right, I heard your dad is... Jagged Stone.." she bit her lips, scratching her arm nervously as she could feel the pressure in her chest begin to grow. "Congratulations! I know how much you wondered who your father was." she cringed at her comment.

Who the hell says that?!

"Thanks. He was your favorite musician, right?"

She grinned, "you remembered. I haven't listened to him in a while, but I'm excited for his set." That wasn't a lie. Whilst in China, she kinda left everything that reminded her of France behind, so that meant no more listening to Jagged Stone, but that didn't mean her love for that man's music faded. "So, how have you been?"

"I've been doing good. I'm not sure if you heard but, I've started a band myself. Nino lets us play every Saturday and we had a few gigs to open for my dad." Unbeknownst to the girl, but somehow, Luka had slowly closed the gap between the two. Not in a creepy way, the vibe truly felt like they were just old friends catching up.

Only these 'old friends' had history a few years ago.

"How about you? I haven't seen you in about... four years? Where have you been?" he smiled, genuinely curious as to what the bluenette had been doing.

Marinette tucked a strand of hair between her ears and glanced at the VIP section. She was sure she passed Adrien's five-minute time limit by now, but seeing as he was still nowhere in sight, she wondered if it was okay to continue talking with Luka. I mean truly, he wouldn't mind that she was catching up with an old friend. Why would he care?

Adrien does not mind... and he cares a lot...

Marinette had no idea about the storm that was brewing in a few minutes.

"It's been five years Luka." Marinette giggled, the awkwardness slowly dying out the longer she stood with him. She couldn't lie, she was worried about meeting this boy, or should she say, man. Luka had surely grown a few inches, he was towering over her. Matter of fact, everyone was. Marinette hardly grew over the last five years.

Luka had a few new piercings, along with tattoos covering his arms, and a nice stubble growing on his jaw. His entire vibe gave off the impression of 'bad-boy-rockstar-guitarist', which was probably the goal. He was surely starting to look like his father. Weird that no one could tell the difference before.

"I've been in China actually, started a small fashion line there," she replied bashfully. Marinette wasn't the type to brag, but the way she used the word 'small' was an understatement, seeing as it caught the attention of Adrien Agreste, a world-renowned Fashion Icon.
