As Adrien held the door open, Marinette stared in disbelief, wondering how the hell the blonde found her. Seeing Adrien for an hour took everything out of her, but seeing him the same day for the second time? "Why the hell are you here?"

"Nino invited me," Adrien confessed nonchalantly, stepping through elevators and having it finally close fully. Marinette gawked as he entered as if he could not read the room and realize that she did not want him here at all. And what the hell did he mean, Nino invited him here?

He glanced at the elevator buttons and noticed that floor eleven was shining. "Floor 11 room 23, right?" he grinned.

"Uh- you didn't answer my question--" Marinette screamed, feeling the elevators begin to rise slowly. "Why the hell are you here?"

Adrien shrugged. He didn't have a plan as to why he came, but as soon as Nino gave him the opportunity, he rushed here as soon as he could. 'As soon as he could', meaning after all his paperwork. Hence why he came three hours later.

"We aren't done with our interview..?" He knew very well that Marinette now had no plans of working under him, but he never took 'no' for an answer. He was beginning to push it, but when has he never pushed Marinette's buttons before?

The two heard the elevator doors ring, indicating that they had arrived at Marinette's apartment floor level, and Adrien was the first to step out. He turned back to her and gestured his hands to have her step out as well, "lead the way," he said casually with a huge grin.

"You're not allowed in my apartment,"

"Actually, I am," he said in a matter-of-fact tone. "I paid for your plane ticket as well as your living quarters. This may be your apartment, but it is under my name." He smirked, reaching into his pocket and bringing out his wallet where he held a white key card that also had the logo of the apartment complex, as well as his room number. "I didn't need Nino to tell me where you'd be, but he did give me a chance to talk to you."

She stared at his card and groaned internally frustrated. It was like Marinette's life was now in Adrien's hands, and it was starting to feel as if she was a doll and he was pulling the strings. She always knew Adrien liked to be in control, had connections that would lead this his way, and would use the right words that would persuade his followers to do things for him.

That was just the type of man he was. The type of man he was raised to be.

Marinette rolled her eyes and stepped out of the elevators and towards her room. Even if she wanted to kick him out or refuse to let him in, as he said; he had the power AND the key card to enter himself.

She led him to her door, swiped her card, and opened the door, revealing the very nice and tidy house that Nino and Alya had set up for her. "Just have a drink and go, there will be no use for an interview," she said. "I'm not working for you."

Adrien walked into the apartment, ignoring her statement, taking a seat on her couch, and began to stare at the living area. "Pink is still your favorite color, huh?" he mumbled to himself, making sure Marinette wasn't able to hear.

Even if she isn't able to paint the walls, seeing as it is against the apartment policy, the bright color is still evident all around the room. Pink throw pillows, pink curtains, and even a small pink fuzzy rug.

He smiled to himself, recalling the memory of his first time in Marinette's room, yet finally took notice of the heavy amount of alcohol spread out on her coffee table. "You're quite the drinker, Mari."

She cringed at the nickname that was strictly only to be used by friends and family, yet here Adrien goes hearing her name roll off his tongue again. We are not friends, can he just leave already??
