The Lack of Communication in the Magical Community

Hi everyone!! :)

I know it's been a long time since I put anything on my journal because there hasn't really been anything to talk about. However, this chapter is going to be a.... Talk about the Magical girl/ boy/ magician community.

This chapter will be a downer and a big risk on my part to even WRITE this but I think people need to know because this is getting crazy and nothing has changed.

So with that warning out of the way, let's jump from the frying pan into the fire pit and talk about the Magical girl/ boy/ magician community.

A few rules I will be putting on this talk

1. I WILL NOT BE NAMING ANYONE!! This is for their protection and safety. Please do no ask for any names of anyone involved.

2. If anyone reads this and thinks it's talking about you, you might be mistaken because many of these topics has happened before in the community. So don't automatically think it's about you.

3. This is a talk about the state of our community and how lack of communication has pulled us apart. Including mythicals because we are apart of their community too just a subsection like Shapeshifters.

4. I will not be picking sides because that would be defeating the purpose of this talk. Conspiracy theorists will be talked about but objectively I won't be picking sides.

5. If I get any information wrong please let me know :) I want to make sure this is.... Well truthful and giving the tough love the community needs right now.

So let's begin!!!

I want to begin with a single question:

Why... Why are we fighting amongst ourselves?

We are literally fighting ourselves here which makes us look like fools.

Our lack of communication is pulling us apart and has been for years. In the community and our society as a whole.

My second question is

Why are we lying, cheating, telling each other that our concept isn't going to work and being closed minded on everyone else's beliefs?

Whatever you believe, ether the multiverse, AWTOK, Shapeshifting, QAnon, religion, magical beings and so much more.

In this diverse unique community, we all want some kind of:

Magic

This can be invisibility, flight, summoning weapons, time travel, transformation, reanimating the dead, controlling the elements, becoming a mermaid or even protecting imagination.

Our goal is that we want magic in some way or form.

We are united under that fact.

But we keep ourselves divided through not communicating to each other our frustrations and fears, our closed minded views and sometimes dissing others ideas and concepts. I have done that before in the past and am ashamed of now....

The bottom line

We need to stop fighting ourselves and focus on helping each other on our goal of getting magic.

And the major bit: WE DO NOT BRAG WE GOT MAGIC!

If we have or when we do get our magic we safely, calmly and respectfully tell people how we got it.

There will always be haters who may or may not understand why we are busting our minds, limbs and sanity for a chance to have a magical gift.

But we should never hate or lash out at each other.
