21st District Police Department

The next day Severide had been released from Med and instead of going home like Will told her she made Jay take her to the district insisting she'd rest once this was done. "You really should go home and rest, you shouldn't overdo it right now," Jay said as the two walked into the police department. Zoey was wearing a pair of black FBI academy sweatpants and an academy shirt as they walked in and Jay buzzed her up the stairs. "Like I said when this is over I'll rest for a month and then I'll take you on a vacation to Hawaii because I wanna drink tequila on a beach and I want you by my side when I do it," she told him.

"Hawaii? I'm gonna hold you to that," the detective said, "You don't have to it's on my list" she said as they walked into the bullpen. "What list?" Jay asked curiously, "It's a list she started making when she joined the unit of all the things she wants to do before she dies." Reid said walking over and slowly and carefully pulling her into a hug hoping she didn't flinch away from him which she didn't. "Which one were you thinking of?" Morgan asked walking over as Severide hugged him. "I wanted to get wasted on a beach in Hawaii watch the sunset, drink on the beach around this huge bonfire while listening to island in the sun by Weezer," she said with a smile.

"This is good, it tells me a lot about you," Jay said with a smirk, "Like what? that I know how to have a good time. I know" she replied with a smile. "Did med discharge you?" Hotch asked Severide who nodded, "Yeah not long ago," she said walking over and taking a seat at Jay's desk. "So what's going on so far?" she asked looking over to the whiteboard. "We have Jason, Joey and Mike in custody," Morgan said causing Severide to look at him.

"That's good right that means it's done with right?" she asked partly knowing it seemed too easy to be the case. "You said the night of the raid in New Jersey that Jason got a call right before the raid right," Reid said more than asked as the brunette nodded. "We're trying to figure out who tipped him off," Rossi said. "Did you see him meeting with anyone else?" Hotch asked the agent who shook her head no. "He mostly just took calls and if he met with people he made sure I wasn't around," she replied. "Made sure you weren't around?" Ruzek asked, "It was a prostitution ring Adam fronted as a sex club, I'd get... requested I guess you could say," she replied spinning side to side in the desk chair awkwardly.

"Sounds more like pimped out, to me," Antonio said as Severide just shrugged. "So did they tell you who called them?" the brunette asked as the room just went silent. "They claim they did nothing wrong and the girls we found consented to the whole thing, haven't said a word since then," Voight said causing the agent to stop spinning. "I mean he thinks I'm dead, that might be the leverage you need to Jason talking. Especially if you amp things up on attempted murder to a fed, countless other murders and charges" she said.

Hotch and Voight changed looks, "Okay Severide and Halstead why don't you take a run at this?" the older sergeant said causing the agent to pause. "Whoa whoa, Hold up you want to send Zoey into the room with the monster that put her in the hospital?" Jay said concerned and worried by the idea. "If it's alright with Severide," Hotch said looking at the agent. "Fine by me but you're going in there first, I wanna read his behaviour without him knowing I'm profiling him." The brunette said as the detective paused. "Are you sure?" he asked her unsure of the whole idea, "It'll be okay, plus I got you and everyone here. He can't hurt me," Severide said unsure if she was trying to reassure him or herself at this point.

The two walked down the hall towards the interrogation room as the agent went into the room in between 2 interrogation rooms. 1 held Jason and the other held Mike. Jason looked like shit, his face was swollen and he has a split lip and black eye and he was cuffed to the table. Jay walked into the room holding a file in his hand as he stood a seat in the metal chair in front of Jason who stayed silent and wasn't phased by him walking in. "This isn't his first run-in with the police, you can tell by how he reacts to a figure of authority," Severide said to Morgan who had followed her in the room along with Hotch, Rossi and Voight.

Jay pulled out a photo of Severide from the night Mike dumped her body, she doesn't remember much of that night but she was practically dead from bleeding out. "Wanna tell me how this woman's DNA was found all over your delivery van? and how she turned up on Navy Pier?" Jay asked as Severide walked out of the room and over to the interrogation room taking a deep breath before she opened the door and walked in causing Jason to look up in her direction as shock crossed his face for a moment. "You're supposed to be dead," he said surprised, the agent laughed lightly at the comment. "Smarter people than you have tried and also failed," she replied.

"You're a cop?" he sneered, I mean if the man could read her clothes literally said FBI on them. "No I'm not a cop, I'm a fed and I'm gonna become your worst damn nightmare if you don't tell us who called you the night of the raid, I promise you if you don't cooperate I'll personally arrange to have you placed in Gen pop. I wonder what they're gonna do to you when they find out you like selling and raping women and teenage girls with guns," Severide said with her arms crossed staring at the handcuffed man.

"If you talk I might see if I can get you a deal," She added causing the detective to look at her in disbelief. Jason sat there thinking over her words worry clear on his face, "Jeffery Leads, he's the one I get my orders from and he's the one that called me and told me the raid was coming," Jason said causing Severide to pause for a moment before she stood up and walked towards the door. "Wait, what about my deal?" Jason asked as Severide just walked out of the room meeting Hotch, Rossi Morgan and Voight in the hallway.

Severide walked pasted them and walked into the bullpen taking a seat at Jay's desk without a word trying to process what they found out. "Did he tell you who called him?" Prentiss asked as Morgan, Rossi, Hotch and Voight walked into the room along with Jay who walked over to his desk where Zoey was staring at a spot on the desk. "You okay babe?" he asked softly leaning on the desk while looking at the brunette.

Severide fought the tears in her eyes, "Jeffery leads called Jason that night and tipped him off to the raid not to mention Leads is the one running the whole operation," Morgan said. "You mean section chief for the FBI Jeffery Leads?" Reid asked, "Wasn't he the one that assigned you to this assignment?" Prentiss asked as Severide nodded.
