High school Au//Xiao is a Junior, Aether is a sophomore! They have been dating for a couple of months now!

Third Person POV

It was a peaceful chilly Friday afternoon, Aether and Xiao were having a small study date at Xiao's house. They sadly had a test on Monday and wanted to memorize all of the material to pass the exam. Aether flopped back into Xiao's bed exhausted. "I hate math! Why do I need to know all of this? Will I really need it?" "Probably not, but you need to know it to pass Mr. Zhongli's test. "What if we bribe him? Say we will get Mr. Childe to leave him alone for two weeks?" Xiao let out small laugh, "As if Mr. Childe would agree." Aether frowned. "You're right. Hmm fine. Guess I will study." Aether sat up straight and gave Xiao a small smile. Xiao returned the small gesture, which was rare, even if they were dating.

"I want some hot coco. Want some hun? We can take a small break." Aether suggested. Xiao set his math book aside and nodded. "Sure. Lets go make some petal." Xiao stood up and helped Aether off the bed. He grabbed Aether's small soft hand, and gave it a small kiss. 'Xiao is very lovey today. Wonder if something good happened today.' Aether thought.

The two love birds walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. Aether went to get the milk and water, while Xiao got the coco powder and marshmallows. "Hey hun, when is your sister suppose to come back from her business trip?" Aether asked. "I think next weekend. Lumine suppose to come back from Europe in a few days correct?" "Yeah! I'm super excited!" The young couple started preparing their drinks. Carefully Xiao poured the hot water and milk in different cups. Xiao drank his coco with water, while Aether drank his with milk. "Careful sunflower, it's hot." "I will." Aether gave Xiao a small peck on the cheek. The shorter male flushed a light pink.

They two were back in Xiao's room studying history now. "So this kingdom, Khaenri'ah never had a god? Woah, they are so different then the other kingdoms! Mondstadt had one and so did Inazuma, and Liyue, and the other nations too!" "Yeah, it was built by someone who was separated by their sibling during a battle against an unknown god. This place is still a mystery to this day and age." Aether's eyes sparkled, "I wonder...who do you think you would be during this time? I mean there was mortals, the travelers, adeptus, gods! Who would you wanted to be?" Xiao thought. he wanted to be someone who could protect is family and Aether, "An adeptus I suppose. I would be able to protect everyone, while still having a normal-ish life hopefully. What about you?" "I want to be a traveler! I could travel around the land and meet so many people! It would be amazing!" Xiao nodded smiling and took a sip of his drink.

"Fuck. I burnt my tongue. It hurts." Xiao slightly pouts. Aether had an idea. "Do you want something to help cool it down? Your tongue?" Xiao was confused but nodded, he assumed Aether would go get a piece of ice. He wrong.

"A-Aether? What are you-"Aether sat on Xiao's lap and leaned in to kiss Xiao's lips. Confused, Xiao sat there, Aether noticed and stuck his tongue into Xiao's mouth. "Hm~Ah~" Xiao slightly moaned. Aether continued to taste all around Xiao's mouth. He tasted so sweet. Xiao tried fighting for dominance, but lost. Aether swirled his tongue around Xiao's, 'cooling it off.' Xiao moved his hands to Aether's hair, slightly pulling it. while Aether's hands roamed around Xiao's clothed chest. "Haa~" 'Feel better?" Xiao nodded, drool on the side of his mouth. With his finger, Aether wiped the drool away and smiled fondly. "I love you." "I love you too."
