Doodles

High school Au//Aether and Xiao are in class. Aether wants to draw but paper seems so boring for him right now. So the next best option? His handsome boyfriend.

Aether POV

It was currently third period and I was bored out of my mind. I usually was bored third period because it was Math. And if I am being honest, I'm not the best at Math. Sighing I turn to the left and looked at my boyfriend, Xiao. He was very focus on the lecture and taking notes. I tapped his hand lightly and he responded by turning his hand palm up waiting for me to grab it. Satisfied, I held his hand. It was cold, but I didn't mind. I'm actually very happy. Then an idea popped inside of my head. I quickly use my right hand and feel around the inside of my bag for markers. I found two, one black and another teal. When the teacher stopped for a brief moment to talk to the principle who walked in, I asked Xiao if I could draw on him.

"Hm? Do you not have paper?" He asks. "I do, but. You're a better canvas. You're beautiful, and I want to make you even more handsome. "He lightly blushed and nodded. "Okay then. But don't draw anything stupid. The other day the annoying bitchass ginger drew a dick on my hand." I quietly laughed. "Childe did that?" Xiao nodded. "I hate him." "I know."

The principal left and the teacher apologized for the interruption. Mr. Shinya then proceeded to pick up where he left off. Xiao took notes for the rest of class. Meanwhile I just drew a bunch of random doodles on him. Such as flowers, mushrooms, stars, and planets. "These look amazing. Expected from my talented boyfriend. I smiled, I loved it when he complimented me. "Thank you!" He nodded and packed up his things. I did too, and waited for him to finish. Once he finished, I reached my hand towards his. He accepted it and we held hands while walking to fourth period. Which was typically a fun class. But today we had a test, so it was gonna be pretty boring.

"Hey if we both finish early you can draw on my other arm if you want petal?' Xiao asked me.

Xiao POV

I knew Aether was going to get bored next period so I offered him a head of time if he wants to draw on me again. But this time, on my other hand. He eagerly nodded, which maybe me let out a soft laugh. He's the only one who could make me give a genuine laugh and smile.

After we took the test, we had 20 minutes left. Aether pulled out his two markers and started doodling up my arm. He drew some video game and anime items, more mushrooms and flowers, and a hashtag you're gay sign. I let Aether do whatever he wanted to. I think his art is very pretty, so I don't mind. Plus, maybe one of these will become my next tattoo.

I smiled as Aether continued to doodle all over me.

By the end of the day, my arms were covered with doodles Aether did. But one particularly stuck out to me

X + A = <3

That might become my next tattoo. I'll ask Aether what he thinks.
