Here's something I wrote during class :)

Third Person POV

As the sun rises, the birds begin to chirp and the roosters begin their wake up calls. The world slowly starts to wake itself up. Alarms going off, people’s eyes start to open. The sounds of coffee brewing, faucet leaking, and footsteps can be heard all around. It was a chilly morning, not too cold, not too hot. It was perfect for sweater weather. At least, that’s what he thought.

The blonde rose from his bed, yawning and stretching as he took in his surroundings. He was up late last night, finishing the last of his homework. School had just started, yet, he seemed to already be drowning with homework and assignments. He yawned one last time before stepping out of bed. He glanced at the clock on his phone. ‘6:15’ it read. He sighed softly before going onto Spotify to play some music. He browsed for a moment before he decided on a playlist. His playlist. It was called, ‘The Moment I Fell for You <3’

He created the playlist a few months ago, when he realized he had a crush on his best friend. He smiled at the memory when he figured it out. They were having a sleepover and they were talking about a variety of things. School, friends, hobbies, the future, life, purpose, anything and everything. They talked all night and soon, the blonde realized he was in love. He loved the way his best friend gave him a small smile, the way he laughed, the way he would get serious when talking at times, and the way he was genuine in all his answers and responses. The blonde shook his head slightly, trying to get rid of the memory. He needed to get dressed for school.
He walked over to his closet and grabbed some clothes. He then went to the bathroom to get dressed. He washed his face, moisturized, changed outfits, styled his hair, brushed his teeth, and sprayed some deodorant and cologne. When he was finished he walked out and back into his room. He opened up his window and saw the morning sun shining through, he saw people getting into cars to get to work, he saw the birds fly, he saw the beautiful scenery.

He took a moment to admire how beautiful life could be. His favorite song played as he stared out the window. Once his song ended, he stood up from his bed once more. He went over to his desk to pack his bag. He put his homework in his binder and stuffed it inside his bag. He double checked to make sure he had everything he needed for school. Textbooks, reading materials, computer, binders, pencils, pens, everything that was essential. Once he was sure he had everything, he grabbed his bag and phone and walked out of his room. When he went down stairs he was greeted by his sisters. His twin who was cooking breakfast and his little sister who sat on the couch watching some kids tv shows. He walked over to his twin sister and patted her head. She turned to him and greeted him good morning. She told him the food would be ready soon and that his best friend would be over soon. The blonde nodded. Lately, his best friend had been coming over for breakfast in the morning. The blonde wasn’t complaining, but it felt strange for some reason. He set his bag by the hallway and walked over to the living room. He took a seat next to his little sister. She smiled when she saw him enter the room. She started rambling on about what was going on in her kids show. Telling her older brother about the characters and plot. He listened to her ramble on for ten minutes before the doorbell rang. He got up and opened the door. His best friend stood there with a shy smile. The blonde smiled and hugged the other male, he had dark teal hair. When he pulled away he led his friend inside. His friend with dark teal hair greeted the blonde’s sisters. They waved at him and told him to sit. Breakfast was ready. Everyone gathered around the table, taking a seat. The blonde’s twin made everyone’s plate and placed the plates in front of each person, along with a cup of apple juice. Or in her younger sister’s case, strawberry milk.

As they ate, they would talk about drama that was happening at school or other events going on. The female blonde went on and on about the drama going on in her friend group. The male blonde talked about an upcoming concert he was going to and how he was going with his friend, a dark-blue haired male with teal tips at the end. The teal haired male talked about his music lessons and how he’s getting better at guitar. The little girl just sat and listened to them, enjoying her breakfast.
After breakfast they all cleaned up and walked out of the house. The twin sister sat in the passenger's seat while her twin brother got into the driver's side. The teal haired male sat in the backseat with the younger sister. After turning on the car, getting buckled, the male blonde played his playlist. But a different one called “My Vibe <3” As they drove to school, they would sing along to the songs that would play. The male blonde didn’t notice but his best friend would watch him sing. He was beautiful when he sang. His voice was that of an angel and his friend loved his voice a little too much.

They arrived at the elementary school. The little sister grabbed her bag and got out of the car when a teacher opened the door for her. She waved goodbye with a smile on her face and went inside of the building. The three highschool students waved goodbye before heading to their own school. After 15 minutes, the male blonde parked the car in the student parking lot. Him, his sister, and his best friend got out of the car. His sister stretched as she got out. He yawned as he put the keys in his backpack. His best friend walked over to him and linked their arms together, it was a small gesture they liked to do.

The sister noticed and smirked a bit, she knew how they both felt but decided it was none of her business. They walked up the steps to the building and when they entered they were getting by students chattering and lingering around the hallways. The two males made their way to the library where the rest of their friends were. The sister went to the cafeteria instead to find her friend group.
As the two boys walked toward the library, they chatted about different things. The blonde moved closer to his friend, whispering rumors he had heard about. His friend kept a neutral face but soaked up each piece of gossip that the blonde said. “Wow, that's crazy. What about you? Do you think they will get together?” The shorter male asked. The Blonde shrugged, “I’m not sure but honestly they shouldn’t. It would be really toxic if they were to ever start dating. She’s really possessive and protective, he’s really outgoing and not understanding.” His friend nodded in agreement. “Well, what do you think about dating? What qualities make someone datable?” The blonde laughed at the question. “It differentiates from person to person, but for me personally, the person has to be super kind, understanding, and overall a nice person. What about you?” The blonde looked over to his friend, their arms were still linked together.
The dark haired male thought for a brief moment before answering. “Well, for someone to be datable in my eyes they would need to be someone like…you.” The blonde blushed, suddenly feeling the heat that radiates off his friend’s body as their arms stay linked. “S-Someone like me eh?” The dark haired teen nodded. The blonde flushed, he wasn’t used to hearing words like that.

Soon they arrived at the library and saw their friends. Their friends were sitting around a table doing a variety of activities. One was reading a book, he had a white hair with a red streak, Another listened to music on his computer, his hair was dark blue with light blue tips in his braids. A male with dark purple hair bickered with another male who’s hair seemed to be dark red. The blonde and his best friend walked over and took a seat. The group recollected and started chatting the morning away.

As the day passed, the blonde and his best friend went to each class together. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was just a coincidence, but the two boys had every class together. Perhaps they were just lucky to get to spend the whole day together. Even though they spend almost everyday together, they haven’t gotten tired of each other yet. Honestly some may say that their soulmates, destined to be together forever. At least, the blonde hoped.
The blonde has been in love with his best friend and he couldn’t ask for a better person to be in love with. He’s happy that it’s his best friend, whom he loves. It makes him feel safe and secure. In their last class of the day, the blonde rested his head on his best friend’s shoulder. “Tired?” “Tired.” His best friend smiled softly at the boy he loves.

“Rest. It’s just a lecture. The history teacher won’t mind.” The blonde nodded and rested his eyes. He soon fell asleep. When the history teacher walked in, he saw his son and his blonde best friend together. He eyed the sleeping blonde, but his son looked at his father and spoke with his eyes. His father nodded and went to his desk, the lecture soon began. Class ended after 45 minutes, and the dark haired male turned to shake his friend awake. The blonde slowly woke up, rubbing his eyes and stretching.

“Good afternoon.” “Good afternoon!” The blonde said, standing up and collecting his things. His friend followed, and soon they were out the school doors. They walked down the school parking lot, to head to the car. The blonde sister wouldn’t be joining this afternoon since she had volleyball practice, and their little sister was picked up by their older brother. So it was just the two of them. The blonde entered the passenger seat and his friend entered the driver’s seat. “Aux?” The blonde nodded and handed his friend the Aux cord.
His friend plugged in his phone and selected a playlist called, ‘For The One I Love.’
“Do you still feel the same?” “Always and forever.”
The two confessed their feelings for each other a while back, however, they haven’t started dating. They made a promise to each other. That they would date once their senior year ended, they made a promise to start college together as a couple, and after college to get married. They have promise rings as evidence of their promise.
“Ready to go, Aether?” Aether nodded. “Of course Xiao.”
Xiao ruffled Aether’s hair and their journey home began.
