Another story I wrote during class <3 (I have too much free time during class)
Third Person POV
Snow, so pure, so white, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
That's how he looked at the snow, through those golden like eyes. In his point of view, snow was everything to him. He loved snow, but recently, he found something else to love as well.
For a long time, his life was devoid of life, passion, and love. All his life he fought against the creatures of the dark, defeating anything that came his way.
However, there was a point in time where he had a reason to live, he had friends. He cherished those friends more than anything. To him, they weren't just friends. They were family.
But, nothing lasts forever. After the incident, Karma took over. His friends were taken away from him, they couldn't handle the karmic debt anymore and subdued into the darkness. His friends then perished and he was all alone once more.
His life was filled once more with fighting creatures, avoiding his karmic debt, and watching over the people of Liyue. When his work was done, though it never actually was, he would rest at the top of mountain-like structures. There, he would mourn his friends' souls. He would sit in the snow.
Snow, so pure, so white, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
There was just something about the snow that would relax his muscles, his brain, his soul. Perhaps it is because the snow holds memories as well. When he was at the brink of death, covered in snow, he saw a golden light. The golden light came to save him, not take him. In the snow, he was found by his now father figure. That was a memory he cherished and shared with the snow.
Snow, so pure, so white, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
One day in Liyue, it started snowing. He was outside Wangshu Inn when the small snowflakes fell from the heavens and covered everything with its white powder. He reached his arm out, in hopes to catch the perfect snowflake. After many failed attempts, he did it. He was excited, like a child, and ran down to show the receptionist. When he arrived he saw her petting her cat. He walked over shyly and showed her. She smiled at him and praised him for being so gentle with such a fragile thing. She also had some news, a certain blond hair traveler was coming into town. Everyone across the Nation of Liyue has heard of the Blonde Traveler and his accomplishments and what he did to help Mondstradt during a dark period. Hearing this peaked his interest. He had heard from an old friend that this Traveler would be coming to Liyue in search of something. The snowflake melted. He talked with the lady for a little while longer, or more like listened to her, beforeing returning to the top of Wangshu Inn. He stared at the snow, waiting for the Traveler.
Snow, so pure, so white, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
Days passed and soon word came that the Traveler had arrived. The Adeptus waited on top of the Inn. He listened to the sound of the wind and leaves that surrounded him. He wondered, just who exactly is the Traveler? What was he like? What did he look like? Did he yield a vision, a weapon, magic? Where is he from? Is he from Mondstradt or another nation? He felt himself question everything about the Traveler. He was interested in learning more about the Traveler. Soon the Traveler arrived at the Inn.
"Adeptus Xiao, Conquer of Demons, are you here?"
He felt his heartbeat quicken. Why is it that this boy, this traveler, this human, made his heartbeat so fast? He doesn't know what the boy looks like, but his voice...
Oh his voice.
The Adeptus could hear his own heartbeat, how rapid it was beating. This wasn't normal for him. What was going on? He kept his cool and appeared in front of the Traveler and his companion.
"Greetings."
The Adeptus felt as if his breath was taken away from him. This man's beauty was incomparable. He was gorgeous, she shined just as bright as the sun, his braided hair flowed flawlessly with the wind. His eyes were golden, and shined so brightly, he felt as if he was looking at two miniature stars. This man was a star. He was beautiful, maybe, just maybe, more than snow itself.
The Traveler stared at the Adeptus. The Adeptus was at a loss for words, but soon he composed himself. He had to keep his cool. One slip up, and his Karmic Debt would come and take him. The Traveler smiled at the Adeptus, it made his heart flutter.
"Can you help me?" To anyone else, the Adeptus would have said no, but for some reason he said, "Yes."
For the next few weeks, The Adeptus would follow the Traveler all over the land of Liyue. Whether it would be by the Traveler's side, or in the shadows watching. He was always nearby and appeared by the Traveler if he was ever in need of help or in danger. The Adeptus felt as if it was his duty to protect the blond. He couldn't stand to see him hurt. There were times though where the two males would talk for hours upon hours within the night. There was a connection between the two, and the Adeptus wasn't sure how he should feel.
As the weeks would go on and on, the two slowly got closer and closer to one another. They shared many stories with one another. Stories about their travels, about old friends, about old deep wounds, and stories about the future. The two were very different. The blond may have been an introvert, but he still tried to be outgoing. The blonde was lively, kind hearted, soft spoken, and most of all filled with hope. Meanwhile the Adeptus was cold, stern, and devoid of all hope. They were completely different, and there were many others that the Traveler could choose to spend his time with. But, he chose to be with Adeptus.
One day, after knowing the Traveler for a few months, (four months, 12 days, 3 hours, and 23 minutes exactly but who's counting anyways?) The Adeptus was certain that this feeling he felt, the heat in his chest, in his heart, was love. It felt strange to the Adeptus. Feeling love was something he had never felt before, at least, not romantic love. He's felt a father's love, a sister's love, but never romantic love. It felt...
Amazing.
The Adeptus and the Traveler were walking through the lands of Liyue when suddenly, it started to snow. The Adeptus looked up and a faint faint smile appeared on his face. The Traveler watched the Adeptus as he held out his hand to catch a snowflake. The Traveler felt his face flush red. His heart was beating, faster and faster and faster, and suddenly, he had a thought.
Snow, so pure, so white, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
"Do you like snow?" The Traveler asked. The Adeptus nodded. The Adeptus told another story as they walked in the now snow covered path. He told the Traveler about when he first discovered snow, how much he liked it. How he was even forced to eat snow since he could not afford food. The Traveler listened and listened while the Adeptus talked and talked. This was probably the longest he has ever heard the Adeptus talk. It felt nice. As the snow continued to fall, both males would try to catch snowflakes. Both failed however. They would laugh with one another and then try again. It was a really sweet moment for the two of them. As they continued their walk, both of their heartbeats were beating rapidly. Both knew what this feeling was, what they felt for one another, it was love. The Adeptus looked over at the Travelver once more and had one thought during their walk.
Aether, so pure, so gold, so precious, so...
Beautiful.
