Volleyball

Aether is a first year libero at Karasuno, while Xiao is a first year setter on Inarizaki. (This is an au where the third years have graduated and the second years are third years and the first years are seconds years. For example Ennoshita is now captain and Hinata is now a second year! Don't worry the third years, Daichi, Suga Asahi, Kita, etc, all come to watch this practice match!)

Third Person POV

"You don't understand I am so excited to have a practice match with Inarizaki! We get to go against the twins again!" Hinata shouted. He has been bugging Kageyama all day. To everyone's surprised Kageyama hasn't gotten annoyed yet. "Hey Aether!" It was Noya! He ran up behind Aether and ruffled his hair, getting on his tip-toes. "Heya champ you ready for our practice match against Inarizaki tomorrow?!" Aether nodded. "Yes it's so exciting! I have heard great things about them so I can't wait to play them!" "Oh and a little surprise our captain is giving you first years~ You guys get to play agnist them!" Aether gasped. "Wait so me, Albedo, Chongyun, and Venti get to play?" "Yup! Thank Ennoshita!" Aether nodded his head. "I sure will! Let me go tell the others!" He then rushed off and to find the first years to tell them the news and to thank Ennoshita.

Tanaka walked up to Noya and patted his shoulder, "Do you think they are ready to face a power house school? I mean I understand it's a practice match and all, but still. I mean we haven't even let them play against Blue Castle." Noya turned and looked back at Tanaka. "I think they are ready to put their skills to the test. Ennoshita sees it too. They have potential. I mean can't you see it, they are just like our first years last year. In order for them to become stronger, they need to see where they are making mistakes and how to fix them." "I agree." Tanaka and Noya jumped and turned around. Behind them was Sugawara. "Woah Suga!" "I didn't know you were coming!" Suga smiled, "Surprise! Daichi and Asahi are on their way over. Takeda told us about this practice match and we wanted to come see how good the first years are." Noya smirked, "They're hella good."

"So these are the new first years huh? Nice to meet you all! I'm Daichi, former captain of Karasuno Boys Volleyball team." "I'm Sugawara, former vice captain of the volleyball team!" "And I'm Asahi, a former ace of the team." The first years bowed, "Nice to meet you!" They stood up straight again. "My name is Aether and I play libero." "My name is Albedo and I play spiker." "M-My name is Chongyun and I am a pitch server." "And I am Venti! An amazing setter!" "Aether elbowed Venti's side. "We are very please to meet you all!" Aether said, smiling. "We hope we can live up to your standers." Albedo added in. Daichi nodded, "We can't wait to see your skills!"

"Okay so this is the starting line up. Ennoshita proposed that the first years have a shot and play Inarizaki, so our team is a little different from what we are use to. Setter will be Venti, so Kageyama give him some tips. Our two middle blockers will be Tsukishima and Hinata. Hinata I need you to get use to playing with Venti. Spikers will be Tanaka and Albedo. Our libero will be Aether, and lastly our pinch server is Chongyun. Yamaguchi make Chongyun practice some jump serves before the others get here. Now any questions?" Coach Ukai asked. Venti raised his hand. "Yes?" "I have never played with Hinata before, this will be our first time playing with each other. How will I give him his perfect pass?" Venti asked. Coach Ukai smiled smugly. "That's for the two of you to figure out. Hinata will need to adjust and so do you. Remember it's a practice match so it's okay to make mistakes." With that the meeting was done and everyone went to get in a little more practice time. Inarizaki would be here in an hour.
