Chapter Nineteen

I filled the syringe with the medicine. Each patient had the same numbing drug to knock them out. All apart from Sophie. I had forgotten about her feeding so I told them that the job was to be a miss today, order by Doctor Frost.

I finally got to Mary's door. The bodyguards burst in. Mary started playing up as we had planned. That gave me enough time to get a clean needle out of my trouser pocket and the medicine bottle I had got from my briefcase. I filled the syringe and put the medicine bottle back in my pocket. By this point, the men now had Mary pinned down to the floor. I injected her with the needle. My face was hidden by the shadows of the room so I winked at her. She hid a smile as she pretended to flop.

I injected the rest of the patients with the correct medicine bottle. I then disposed of all of the needles and medicine bottles. I went back to the office and sneaked Mary's file into my briefcase. I then waited for the next part of the plan.

It was around five when Doctor Walker came in. He looked excited but he was trying to hide it. We went over the plan once more. We were amazed at how well it was working so far. Hopefully everything else would work just as well.
