Stresses of Life

20 5 2

That very moment when an Headache sets in,
Not by doing a task but by just existing.
Awake in the morning, hoping for a beautiful beginning,
But once you get up, you experience the whole world is spinning.
Took a drink of water, and shook your head
Your little toe is suddenly greeted by the bed.
You jumped, not for joy but for intense pain,
As you're about to head out, "hello" said the rain.
You shoot for the sky,
But fall to the ground.
Why bother try, knowing you're gonna fall down
You're  giving way too much,
When do you give up?
You continue to try, but continue to cry
Thought you could fly, but your wings said "goodbye"
Stuck on the ground,
losing all before it's even found.
You begin to wonder, which one is worse?
Living or dying first,
You aim to fulfill your calling,
But over the cliffs of life your continuously falling.
The foundation crumbles, with every step you make,
Life  becomes harder with every breath you take,
The realest ones turns out to be fake,
You even consider your very existence as a Mistake.
You crave your past relationship, but know it won't work,
Struggling with sleep paralysis from childbirth.
You didn't even ask to be placed on this earth.
Awaiting an answer, trying to figure this out,
Emotionally and mentally drained by words of thy mouth.
These little things, packs the greatest stresses of life and drains you like a drought,
But I strongly hope that you survive the things you don't talk about.
