Given up On Love

I've always pursued love and gave my 100%,

But currently, I feel like someone who owes rent.

I usually put in my outmost interest, which always leads to me in distress.

Its Ironic; how the Poeticcharmer writes about love,

But never seem to get it from above.

Now I rest assure my feelings and focus on me.

For in the end, I'll always have thee.

Beauty without intellect, leads to demise...

But my intellectual capacity, I'll continue to revise.

The transition to a certain standard, require so many things...

But unlike red bull, education is the only possession that gives you wings.

I'll continue to put in the work, while others might laugh;

And ensure that one day, my signature will be called AUTOGRAPH!
