Time

35 13 2

Time is ticking,
Can't it wait?
Not everyone must suffer the same fate.
Past is behind us,
Present is here,
Future is upcoming...
Is it near?
Is is productive?
Should I fear?
Will there be pain, that I would have to bear?
Will my heart shed a tear?
Tic-Toc, it strikes again.
Time wasted can never be regained,
So let's make the best of hear second,
If that's what remains.
My heart is ticking, like a clock,
But unlike a clock; my heart can stop.
It can stop at any moment in time,
Since not all poems, deserve a rhyme...
