Beautifully Broken

Your eyes tend to sparkle,
Like the dew drops at dawn.
Which suppresses the tears,
So precious and calm.

  You wear a smile to cover the truth,
That you've been broken from the flaws of your youth.

You tend to glow on the outside,
While your slowly fading on the inside.
You are perfectly, imperfect,
Beautifully broken and complete with all your flaws.
Life is like a shark, but don't be intimidated by its jaws.
He calls and tells you he's caught up at work, so he won't make it for your anniversary.
You act like its OK and tell him its fine;
But Baby girl, whether its a blessing or a crime, when its necessary, a man will always make time.
