Your lips were made for mine,
I can see you're one of a kind.
Your loving heart, usually seen
But I've unlocked a part that was merely a dream.
Hands over my shoulders, head on my chest,
Kissing you forehead, as you peacefully rest.
Before the sun rises, before the stars fade
In the comfort of your bed, you ate breakfast I made.We went for our routine jogs,
Up to our cabin made of logs.
Listening to nature, looking over the lake,
Until you fell in, shivers and shake.I got attracted to your dark wet hair,
In my hands I had the towel, but I couldn't help not to stare.I appreciate you being a part of my life,
I think it's full time I made you my wife.
I moved your hair from your face,
Kissed you so passionately, you forgot you were in a cold place.I told you there's no need to shiver,
You bit my lips and pushed me into the river.
We laughed, we smiled,
We spoke with our eyes.We wanted to go home and finish this race,
But we were too comfortable in each others embrace.Staring at her, without saying a word,
But the moment I smiled, I'm sure she heard.~Tremar Ivey~
