Presently Absent

At the peak of your success, they automatically present themselves available in your life,

Feeling proud, chin held high with the highest degree of pride ever evoked.

But during the period of your hard work, twists and turns, ups and downs, sleepless nights;

They are nowhere to be found.
No little Motivation, Support or Appreciation,

No one knows you,

But it's your birthday, anniversary, wedding or even your funeral;

Poof!! Everyone instantly remembers you, Inbox flooded with messages from persons you cant even recall.

Not that you're not appreciative of them, but if they didn't remember you then, respectfully, they shouldn't remember you now.

No worries, you don't have to try to filter toxic people from your life, they will naturally present themselves to you and right there, you will automatically know who you belong around.

You'll know whether or not some people care, when you're at your lowest.

You're here, but you're not, you're cold but you're hot.
Your stop and your go, you're yes and you're no.

Just continue doing you, the more you familiarize yourself with such people,

You'll know the obvious difference between being absent and being presently absent.

Self-Care and Self-Motivation is the key;

You need to constantly feel great about your achievements,

Tell yourself Congratulations for your hard work even if you don't hear it from anyone, because the truth is-

You don't need to hear it from them either.
