I dreamed I was sinking,
In my own tears.
But no one would listen,
Cause no one else cares.
After my dreaming, I woke with such fear,
They said they had my back, but who is truly here.
I may seem strong on the surface, not all the way through.
I've never been perfect, but neither have you.
So as I continue wearing a smile, they have no clue,
I'm hanging on by a string, and I'm out of glue.
Glass tends to shatter when it breaks,
Let's see if my life would matter, when I raise the stakes.
I single tear flowing from one eye,
That's the first sign of my goodbye.
Can't remember when I truly cried,
But you'll all remember why I truly died.~Tremar Ivey~
