After touching up the last of my makeup, Tiff and I head out to the party happening three blocks away. We decide to walk, wanting to get some fresh air and not wanting to deal with a car for just three blocks. I mess with my shirt as we see the house up ahead, already hearing the music coming from inside.

I stop as I gulp, looking up at the big, beautiful house. Tiff stops, turning to look at me with an exasperated sigh. She grabs my arm, pulling me with her as I gulp again.

"Come on, girl. It's just one party! You'll have fun, I promise! And it'll give you a chance to get over that jerk, Travis..."

"I'm the one who broke up with him...you know that!"

"Yeah. But he was still a grade A slime ball and you know it!"

I huff as we get to the door, waiting patiently after Tiffany knocks. The door flies open, revealing the one and only Stu Matcher. The class clown that everyone loves. He sits by me in some of my classes, but I hardly pay attention to him. He sends us both a smirk as he leans against the door, as he crosses his arms.

"Well. Hello. I don't remember inviting either one of you..."

I gulp again as Tiffany steps up, a bright smile on her face. He looks at her before looking at me, his smirk deepening as he looks me up and down. I subconsciously bite my lip as I rub my arms, feeling every bit uncomfortable as I look.

"Hi...I'm Tiffany! This is my friend, Christina and we were invited by Jesse!"

"Jesse..." He looks back at her before stepping back, popping his head in the house as he calls out. "Hey! Does anyone know a Jesse?!"

We hear a few different responses, all a form of 'no' as we stand there, looking like idiots. Stu smirks as he turns back to us, crossing his arms again as he laughs a little.

"Sorry...I don't know any Jesse..."

I scoff as I grab Tiff's arm, pulling her away as I glare at the male in the door way.

"Come on, Tiff...we'd probably have more fun in a cemetery anyways..."

I hear him laugh again before he calls out, stopping us in our tracks.

"Come on in, everyone's welcome...I was just messing with ya..."

I continue to glare at him as Tiffany smiles, squealing as she drags me inside. The atmosphere immediately changes as we pass students from all grades and cliches. Smoke is blown in my face as a group of stoners laugh. A senior guy grabs my arm, stopping both of us as he smiles, high as a kite.

"Heyyyy! Is this y'all's first rodeo?"

Why is he talking like that?

"Uh...yeah! Yeah it is!"

Tiffany smiles, brushing her braids behind her shoulder as she starts to flirt a little. I watch them both, a confused look on my face as his smile drops and he gets serious.

"Okay. Listen. Stay away from the Baseball and basketball teams, okay? They're nothing but a bunch of prepubescent frat boys who want nothing more than to get their kicks off some unsuspecting chicks, okay? Make your own drinks or make sure your watching whoever make your drinks. You don't want to learn that the hard way, okay? And always, and I mean always, keep your drink on you. Even in the bathroom. Don't follow anyone you don't trust or be alone with them, I've seen some pretty bad situations that I was not able to prevent...."

We both stare at him in surprise as he grabs a cigarette back out of his pocket, opening it up and pulling out two joints. He looks back up at us, a smile on his face now as he holds them out.

"This is some of that good stuff, okay? Don't smoke anything else unless you trust the person...it could be laced..." Tiffany holds out her hand, slowly nodding as I glance around. "On the house! If you need anymore, call me, I'll hook you up! Well...For a few of course..."

He smirks at the end as he holds up a business card, slipping it behind Tiff's ear with a smirk before walking away. He glances behind his shoulder, a smirk still shining as he nods at us.

"See y'a later, sweeties.."

I bust out laughing as Tiffany looks at me, her eyes wide as she reaches up and grabs the card with her free hand. I grab the joints, slipping them into my clutch before grabbing the stunned Tiffany and guiding her farther into the party.

After about an hour of conversation with people I didn't know or really care about, I slip away to get some fresh air. Tiff is hanging around the cheer squad, laughing with the people who just three years ago were calling her fat and myself an 'orphan'.

I don't care anymore...it just confuses me on how she can slip into groups without a second thought. When I slip out the back door, breathing deep as I look up at the night sky and calm down. It's always been so beautiful in my eyes, the stars twinkling as the moon casts rays of light down on the world surrounding me. If there is clouds in the sky, my eyes can't stay away from the fairytale painting above my very head.

The door closing behind me causes me to jump, turning around fast to see a brunette guy standing with his hands up. He has a cigarette in his hands as he looks me me up and down, taking a hit before blowing it out.

"Sorry..."

"Uh..it's fine.."

I look back up at the stars, finding the Big Dipper right away. It's something Gillian and I used to do before the separation...

"What're you doing out here...all alone?"

I look back at the guy, seeing him sitting on the stepson as he smokes his cigarette. I shrug as I sit on a lawn chair, pulling out one of the joints.

"Wait...hold on...is the Christina Blu smoking?"

"Maybe..."

He gasps as he smirks, grabbing the joint from me as he puts out his cigarette. I smile as I look at him, leaning in. The truth is I'm more than a little tipsy, which means that my sense of responsibility has dwindled down to almost nothing. I didn't even think about how I'm technically breaking rule number four...

"I would never had guessed..."

I look at him closer, realizing who I'm looking at immediately. My palms begin to sweat as I gulp, feeling like the outside wasn't large enough. He smirks at me, only prolonging my pain as he lights up the joint. He takes a few hits before holding it out, staring into my very soul.

"I haven't noticed you at one of these before...aren't you usually at home..studying?"

"Uh...yeah...but I decided to change it up tonight..."

"How's that been?"

"Nice..."

I smile as I take a few hits, blowing it out gently as I hand it to him again. I can't believe I'm talking to Billy Loomis, also known as my longtime crush. We used to hang out all the time in grade school, before his mom left. After that, we drifted apart...well he did.

Suddenly the door opens, revealing a frantic Tiffany who immediately grabs my arm. She grabs the joint from Billy and guides me inside, scolding me the whole way.

"I was worried sick!?"
