After eating, Sophia gives me a perfect out as she complains about jet lag. My mom is already getting ready for work so that also gives me the opportunity I need. I peek around as I creep upstairs, the leftover pizza in my hands. I pass Sophia's room, where she's unpacking while listening to Selena. I wait until her back is to me until I slip past her open door, making it to my own without getting caught.

I silently open the door, looking up and down the hall as I gently shut the door behind me. I exhale, resting my head against the door as I relax.

I can't believe I got away with that....

"Is that for me?"

I jump before swinging around, finding Billy smirking at me as he sits on my bed. His cheek is a little purple from the second stripe he received earlier. My eyes soften as I move forward, gently grabbing his face as I examine the damage.

"I'm sorry Billy...does it hurt?"

"No. It stopped hurting awhile ago..."

He takes the pizza from me, setting it down on the bed as he holds eye contact with myself. It gets intense as I slowly pull away, clearing my throat as I step back.

"There's three slices left...I guess you can stay here tonight....as long as you're quiet. I don't want to get in trouble the first night that Sophia's here..."

"Is that what all that squealing was earlier?"

"Uh...yeah! My cousin Sophia's staying for the summer..."

I brush the hair behind my ear as I walk over to my closet, opening it up and grabbing a pair of pjs. Considering that it can get hot in my room, and that Billy will be staying, I decide on a light set. A white tank top and matching white shorts. I walk over to my bathroom, changing and doing my routine before walking back into my room.

Billy and I used to share a bed all the time...when we were children, but still. This shouldn't be so weird...it's only weird if you make it...

I tell myself that as I walk in, finding myself facing a bare back as he takes off his pants. My eyes widen as he strips down to his boxers before crawling onto my bed. I clear my throat as I step forward, keeping my head low as I move around to the other side of my bed.

I feel his eyes on my as I pull back the covers and slip in, getting comfortable as he does the same. I reach up and switch off my lamp before laying down with my back facing Billy. I freeze as his arms wrap around me, pulling me closer.

"Sorry for breaking in..."

"It's fine...just next time give me warning so you don't end up beaten by an umbrella..."

He laughs as he pulls me closer, intertwining our fingers as he sighs.

"I've missed you, Chrissy..."

"I missed you too, Billy..."

I yawn before I feel sleep creeping up on me.

——

I walk before dawn again, heading for my run as Billy sleeps away in my bed. I pass by Stu's as I run, seeing the beautiful architecture as I pass by. I make eye contact with a pair of eyes staring out the upstairs window, right where Stu's room is as I continue down the road.

I circle back towards my house as I breathe in the morning air. I head straight towards my room after I get back, quietly slipping in as I see Billy still sleeping. I grab everything for a quick shower before walking into my bathroom, locking the door behind me.

Sophia Ramos-Perez wakes with a smile, jumping out of bed as she dresses for the day. She goes next door, opening her cousin's bedroom door and walking in as she smiles.

"Come on, sleepy head! I have plans for today! I was thinking maybe a spa day or shopping at the mall...your mom said something about you taking runs in the morning...I don't really care for running...but I'll try for you!"

She looks towards the bed, seeing brunette hair peaking out from under the comforter. She notices the bathroom light is on as the sound of water running meets her ears. Her eyes widen as she slowly backs out of the room. As she reaches the door, the bathroom opens.

"I already went for a run...but I'm down for whatever...."

Sophia looks at her cousin before looking Al back at the bed, mouth hanging open. She points as she starts to mouth words towards her cousin.

'Who is that?!'

Christina's eyes widen as she looks over towards the bed, making sure Billy's still asleep. Once she's content, she looks back at her cousin with her arms up.

'I'll tell you later'

'No. Tell me now.'

'I can't!'

'Christina!?'

They continue their silent argument as the teen boy slowly wakes from his slumber, sitting up to see the two beautiful women standing across the room. He smirks as he watches the silent argument that her presumes is about himself.

"You know I can hear you, right?"

Both heads snap in his direction as he sits up fully, letting the blanket drop as his torso comes into view. Sophia's eyes widen before she clears her throat, throwing on her award winning smile. Christina watches in worry as her cousin meets one of her oldest friends.

"Hi! I'm Sophia!"

"Hi, Sophia...I've heard a lot about you..."

He stands, walking over to his clothes as if the two girls aren't there. He dresses quite fast before turning back to the stunned females, a smile on his face.

"I better get home..."

Sophia watches in astonishment as he walks out the door, leaving the two cousins alone.

*Christina's pov*

I rush to follow Billy as Sophia follows me. We get down the stairs as the doorbell rings, alerting us of another visitor. Billy opens the door, revealing a surprised Stu standing there. He looks at Billy in confusion before he looks at me.

"Billy? Didn't know you were here...."

"Yeah? well I didn't know you would be here..."

I notice a tension between them as I step up, throwing a smile on my face as I begin to speak.

"Stu! What are you doing here?"

"Well...I'm throwing a party tonight and thought I would invite you myself!"

He throws me a large smile as Billy crosses his arms, staring Stu down as the latter keeps his eyes on me. I start to shift as I look between them, deciding what to do as I rub my arm:

"Uh...I don't know...my cousin's in town and-"

"We'll be there!"

All eyes fall onto my smiling cousin who stands on the stairs, watching everything as if it's a telenovela. She looks at me with a hidden meaning as she smiles politely at both males. I clear my throat and nod as I turn to face Stu again.

"Yeah...we'll be there..."

"Great! See ya then! Billy, you want a ride?"

It's like the whole atmosphere changes as he faces my old friend, pointing towards his car as he speaks. Billy nods as he looks back at me, sending a smirk my way before walking out the door.
