And here we are. The stage it set, the duelists are locked, and an audience consisting of children, one grown man, and myself waited for the battle to commence. Everyone here was excited to see Yuya Pendulum summon again after his match with Ishijima Strong, but I knew better. Granted it helped that I have SEEN the show and know what was going to happen. I could almost feel sorry for the poor guy at this point. Yuzu is a skilled duelist no doubt, but they side benched her for some reason after the championship. That's when a thought crossed my mind.
(Y/N): 'I'm going to have to do a lot, aren't I?'
I shake my head to clear it of those thoughts before they became too much. There is still a bit to get through before they all start showing up and the shit starts hitting the fan. Right now, all I need to do is just enjoy the moment. My thoughts then transitioned from the future to the memory of what I said to Yuya. My hand went down to my deck. My Fortune Ladies. I played tournaments from time to time, but I never really tried to go pro. I was busy with getting through school and all the other shit in my previous life. I wondered if my deck was good enough to go against what is to come. Would I have to make changes?
(Y/N): 'I guess there is only one way to find that out. Perhaps later today I can take him up on the promise that I made him.'
Yuya: "I'm up first! I'm starting off by summoning my Performapal Hip Hippo!"
The tomato boy picked the monster from his hand and placed it on the duel disk with some pizzaz. The flair of an entertainer and all that. A portal opened up and out came the pink marshmallow of a hippo. It had two painted stars on its cheeks, a curly tuff of blue hair, and sporting a dark pink tuxedo. Hip Hippo laughed a bit while he posed with its top hat in hand. The kids cheered at Yuya's move.

Boy 4: "That hippo's happenin'!"
Boy 1: "Yeah! Once Yuya gets him hoofing away, the dude's a high-speed heavyweight."
Yuya: "Let's go! I end my turn!"
Yuya hopped on Hippo's back with no sign of the monster being phased. Granted the monster in question is nothing more than a hologram, even if it is solid vision. The duo started booking it signaling the start of Yuya's Action Card finding tactic. That was also something that I was going to need to address for the future. Action Cards are nice, but as a protagonist, Yuya relied on them far too often. It was a habit that I'm going to have to break him out of.
Yuzu: "You're not going to get far. It's my turn!" *draws card* "I summon Aria the Melodious Diva!"
A portal opened next to Yuzu letting her monster rise into the air. She hovered next to her mistress, and I could get a pretty good look at her. Aria had pink skin and medium purple hair. Her outfit mainly consisted of brown but had green padding in some places. An orange and soft pink piece mixing a tutu and a waist wrap sat gently on her hips. A single orange wing floated just a bit from her back mixing the styles of a harp and an angel's wings. She sung a single note that was reminiscent to that of an angel.
